Won't even comment on Bunnelby. The evolution is... awful.

But yeah, there was a LOT to take in in that new Sun and Moon video.  I like having variations on the same pokemon.  The new bird with different typing on each island was very fitting for the kind of diversity you find in tropical island ecosystems.  And was it me or did most of those z moves look like giant explosions going off?  Which would also be fitting for islands in the Pacific.

They also switched up HMs so now it doesn't seem like you need an HM slave to progress but can instead call the HM Pokemon at any time without needing to occupy a slot.
No, no, he did. In the everything else section, at least. Officially, this makes him king.

Neat!

Why didn't they think of that sooner?

I hope they increase the amount of Pokemon you can carry too

Also

So when you transfer Pokemon from Soul Silver to Pokemon Black and white 2 it does not count as a trade so Haunter won't evolve

which is no loss to me because I like Haunter more then Gengar anyways

It took me a while to notice that Exeggutor is Grass/Dragon now.  And the colors look off on the Tauros in the art in the background of the video.  Shiny, or another type swap?

Probably not a Goat, either.

Uh, except Sandshrewslash was called that because it's Earth type and sand is an earthy substance. These iceshrews aren't earth type at all they're coldsteel.

It's called sandshrew because it burrows into sand. Maybe the ice type still does.

I mean, there sure isn't a lot of snow in Alola islands.

Besides, changing the name probably would risk crossing the different form / different Pokemon barrier. This way it's more clear cut that it's still the same Pokemon.

On another note, the next Pokemon game should totally take place in the Nordic countries. With vikings and stuff. Some new dragon type. Runes as a different type of Unown. Mythical seamonsters. Let's slap Cthulhu in there. And all the men are hot guys with beards and long hair. What else? Sirens. Who's with me, guys?

I think what you really want is a game where you capture hot guys with beards and long hair.
Probably not a Goat, either.

They're all Pokemon. Except for the vikings.

...Actually I won't be surprised if they find a way to make a viking pokemon. I mean, they already have a flying sword.
