Caught quite a few Pokemon with my incense today, with my phone set to network time and running around a little. You get a new pokemon every 200 meters, so running helps.

All my eggs are hatched, as well. Well... About time to go back into the big city.

Wait so is wagering some of your cards a regular part of the pokemon game? Wouldn't you just always give up a worthless weedle as a wager?

Traveling by bus back to the capital city area, and it appears that gas stations are good spots to catch pokemon. Got a Gastly at the first stop. And the second had 5 pokemon all appear at once.

Today was a much better pokemon catching day so I think the problem was entirely the servers. Interestingly there was a lot more server hang-ups and the number of mons I encountered fell pretty sharply around 3pm when schools finished across the country, so the best time to catch the little scamps is during the day when non-neets are at work.

I went to the same nature reserve I tried yesterday and walked along the river, catching many a water type including a pretty buff Seaking (buff considering my low character level).

I found out one of the local gyms is a skate park but I couldn't actually access the gym from outside the park and definitely wasn't going to walk into it with my phone out while it was full of kids rolling around so I left it be (even though one of the mons protecting it was weak and my new Seaking could have pushed its **** in).

The whole mechanic of evolving pokemon by catching more pokemon of that type strikes me as pretty dumb. I haven't seen a single sillhouette of one of the four starters the entire time I've had the game, so levelling up or evolving by Bulbasaur is likely to be impossible. Hope Niantic introduce some non-monetised way of getting that sweet sweet candy without having to catch fifty million magikarps.

Nah, the prize cards are to be taken when you KO an enemy Pokemon. The first player to collect all of their prizes is the winner. But sometimes one of your prize cards ends up being something really useful. So using the two cards that I posted will allow you to have a small advantage over your opponent, who is only able to look at the cool cards that are locked away from them.

non-neets

Pat I don't know how to tell you this but that's the exact opposite of how prize cards work. You've been playing the game wrong this entire time.
