Haha, nah it's going to be way more overt than that! The hula skirt needs to be straw, coconuts need to be brown and furry.

Fun sidenote: in TCG, Exeggcute is really useful. So is the evolved form.

Since it's the birthplace of it and it's a major move in the game, there needs to be a surfing pokemon.  Maybe not even a water type, but it has a rough surfboard and can learn surf and a few other water moves.

When Hoenn trades us these Pokémon, they're not trading their best. They're not sending Groudon. They're not sending Kyogre. They're sending Pokémon that have lots of weaknesses, and they're bringing those weaknesses with us. They're bringing Zigzagoon. They're bringing Poochyena. They're Wurmples. And some, I assume, are good Pokémon.
