All this talk about Pokemon Go reminded me that I have yet to share my crowning achievement with you all.

-Pic-

I can't wait to do it again for real this time.  Pokemon Go is going to ruin my life and I am very excited.

But you shouldn't be using Fossil cards if other people have modern ones because the TCG is totally degenerate.

We only play up until the Team Rocket set. Which is the one right after Fossil... or Base 2... I think.

They seem to be running a little low on ideas.

Are they? It's a virtual console release. And they added wireless functionality for link battles and trades.

Give it a month, there's a Pokemon announcement on the horizon. Also Pokken.

Nah its fine I just wanted an excuse to use Frinkiac again.

But as I was saying on steam the other day, I feel like Nintendo could take more risks with pokemon, At least with the spinoffs if they're too worried about messing with the fossilised formula of the main franchise.

I think the whole series would benefit from a UI overhaul. Doing anything in those games (new or old) is clunky and takes way too long to accomplish.

And maybe they should remove some Pokemon or rebalance them so they're useful. I wonder sometimes if most of their attention is focused on the TCG. The games are definitely successful and very popular, but Pokemon TCG is the bigger monster standing in the shadows.
