Thank you for your name suggestions!  They were all rejected.

How about one of these?

Keromatsu, Shinobigaeri, Shinobi, Kaeru, Gekkouga?
If you stop and think about it, Your life's longer as an old guy than a kid. Scary o.o

Thoughts = meh.

But the trailer contains a brief teaser for a new main series game next year, so I'm happy.

If it could be a launch title for the NX, (assuming it's a portable) I'd be even happier. Fat chance.

They just pooped out the NEW (!) 3DS, so I guess the a handheld NX won't be out for a while.

Which is fine, it'll hopefully mean that the 3DS pokemon games are like the DS ones. Diamond and Pearl were the worst pokemon games and then Black and White were the best pokemon games, so Pokemon Thing and Pokemon Other Thing should be great (and run at more than 10FPS in double battles).

You probably found out on your own already, but you take the Eon ticket to your dad in the Petalburg Gym.
Not a winner anymore.

Looks fine. Not my kind of game, but Ingress was a neat idea so maybe this one will work out, too.

I don't like how easy it was to catch that Charizard. It should have broken out and started rampaging or something to illustrate other gameplay types. Or something.

Also, I feel like Nintendo released a new system right after a hardware revision pretty recently. Wasn't the DSi like that? Or was it their first line of XL units? I think it was that. So there is precedent to be screwed. :D

Yeah Pat that was my immediate thought as well. The DSi (and the Gameboy Advance Micro??) both came out not long before their successors.

Because Nintendo is a money whore.

EDIT - the micro came out AFTER the DS, and the DSi came out two years before the 3DS. The N3DS came out in late 2014 (in Japan, which is what I'm going off here) so the NX could feasibly be late 2016.

It sounds like an interesting concept, but it would mean playing pokemon in public.

I'm more concerned about why it transforms from a dog into a snake/worm thing...although turning into big O is also a bit odd
