No, what determines what a "Digimon" looks like is any creature published under the Digimon Franchise of NamcoBandai and is stated as such. Likewise a "Pokémon" is defined as any of several fictional species of monsters that are so named in Game Freak's Pokémon series made fro the Nintendo Corporation. Any other definition is just your personal way of seeing them which holds no value whatsoever. Besides, I could link to several examples of Digimon which disprove your "definition."

So your even more full of **** than I thought.

Hmm... You seem to think I find the first gen precious in some way. Also it seems my comment on 1% was not viewed as sarcasm, sorry it didn't. I care not about the amount of legendaries in the game and find it silly most people have fits over how many there are in one game(not you guys here, you guys haven't really complained about it. More like grumbled. >_>). Anyway, I was being sarcastic about the one percent thing so get over it Lush. Its just a Pokeman game. P:

You'll never know why.

so, I'm looking to get a pokemon game on the ds, I only want one if I'd be able to get at least 6 1st gen pokemon, because I don't want to play with any of these newfangled abominations,...
in any ds pokemon can this be done? or did they pretty much scrap the 151 gamewise to make room for the other 4 million or so new/stoopidr pokemon

1) Get LameBoy, a Gameboy and Gameboy Colour emulator for the DS
2) Get an old ROM (Only if you own the original cartridge >_>)
3) Play with only the old Pokemon! (I think, I don't know much about which Pokemon were in which game)

Or you could get Heart Gold/Soul Silver.

It has a lot of the original 150(or 151, whichever you perfer). Mewtwo is even caughtable as well. Also it would give you a chance to see both Johto and Kanto(older) regions. Plus if you're curious about the 4th/5th Pokemon generations, they also appear after completing certain events. You might even found out you like some of the newer Pokemon.

Sorry, standard response to fandoms. :-[
I can understand that. C:

If you really want to be a stickler for the 1st 151 pokemon and you have online I could probably trade you a gen 1 starter. Although still there are plenty of good pokemon that came about in the Gold/Silver series. The entire concept of Dark type to nerf the over powered psycics for instance.

Yeah I'll have to fish out out friend codes and what not. As long as you have wi-fi you can get ya f.c. just tell me over pm system here and perhaps on the weekend or something when I have time I can send you a starter egg so when it hatches you will count as the Original Trainer.
