This is the finished map. It looks a little too simple to me. (And shaped like a sheep) Does anyone want me to add more towns or cities? Remember every new route and town will have to be mapped.

Maybe some small town out in the middle of nowhere.

There are already a few of those.

I may rethink the routes to make less backtracking.
No way dude, you're trolling me.

Yes, but what about the other two starters. (not names, but what they look like.)

Can I make a suggestion? Have all the Gym Leaders actually be elite PokeMon trainers like they're said to be. From an RPG game mechanic standpoint it makes sense to have Gym Leaders with Pokemon under level 50, but it doesn't mesh well with the setting. These guys(and gals) are supposed to be hardcore, people who really know what they are doing and are good at it.

That would mean we wouldn't be getting any Gym badges until much later in the game, but that's not really a bad thing. One way to lessen that blow, if you plan on us being able to travel to multiple Leagues, is to have some Leagues be weaker then others. The player can travel to a League where Gym Leader PokeMon strength varies between 30-40 and get badges that much sooner.

All I'm saying is that I feel the setting would be improved if Gym Leaders were more impressive figures overall then they were in the games.

Though also I suppose you could have that be for "Official League Gyms", that are sponsored by the League and give out badges that are officially recognized at League Tournaments and League Events. You could have smaller "Non-Official Gyms" that are privately owned by others, some giving badges and others not, that the League doesn't Officially recognize. These would be more like clubs or dojos and could be more varied both in level and the type of Trainers/PokeMon there.

I've had FireRed for 2 years now. And I just met Suicune a couple months back. I've got the perfect team on me to catch it:
Golbat with Mean Look (Is faster than Suicune)
Wobbuffet with Shadow Tag(Ability)
REALLY FAST Pidgeot

And the Suicune is paralyzed and at 1 hp. BUT I STILL CAN'T CATCH IT!!! HELP!!!
Who are you again and why in the world would you expect anything resembling rationality or civility in youtube comments?

What did you run outta balls or something? Just throw balls at its face until it gets caught.

You'll never know why.

Rule of catching pokemon: Even when it's at 1hp, you'll probably still have to throw about 50 ultra balls.
