I loved Totodile, back then it was like having a water Charmander. (I don't care what anybody says about that, its just the way I thought of it.)

Off topic:
You know which Pokemon moves I hate? Confuse Ray, Swagger, Supersonic, and Water Pulse. I hate them even if they were on my own Pokemon. If fact I hate the confuse status all together! >:(

Edit:
Actually, I do like the move Rock Climb. :-\

Thing is, most of those moves aren't very good. Water Pulse isn't worth it compared to Surf, Supersonic has that rubbish 55% hit rate and Rock Climb is an HM move that isn't Surf, and therefore sucks. Confuse Ray is about the only good confusion-related move (except maybe DynamicPunch for No Guard Machamp, but then that's going to KO most things anyway.)

The only reason to get frustrated is if it gets involved in a fight against the AI, because it will then proceed to cheat. But that's not really a failing of the move, as such.
Not a winner anymore.

The only reason I like Rock Climb is because I am extremely lucky with it. :P

As for DynamicPunch, I don't use it period. Why? Really I don't know myself, I just haven't used it or been hit by it. (It always miss me in the GSC versions Gym for some reason. :-\)

You'll never know why.

If they do follow you for the whole game I hope they have decent overworld sprites and that they don't disappear upon evolution. Also, I am almost definitely choosing Totodile, unless I for some reason decide to pick Cyndaquil. I don't like Chikorita. Apparently the game should be released sometime in September/October/November in Japan, and 2010 for the rest of the world.

WHOA! HOLEE SHEET! I wonder if you can have one Pokemon follow you around at a time? That would be so cool if you had a Gyarados tailing you everywhere...Oh, wait, that disproves my theory. Damn.
I came, I saw, I went back to bed.

Consarn it, what are these kids doing in the pokémon thread?

Shoo, pokémon is for grown-ups.

In any case, Graz, you haven't seen DynamicPunch until you've seen it on a Machamp. 150 Base Power, STAB, perfect accuracy and 100% confusion? You'd better switch in a ghost or a Slowbro or you're losing a pokémon.
Not a winner anymore.

Couldn't they at least make the female character resemble the G/S/C one? D:

Seriously who dresses like that?

Also, the towns in those screenshots remind me of Animal Crossing.

It's cool how the pause menu is now on the touch screen; I guess they fused it with the poketch.
