Haha, I remember being on pokecommunity and saying I hoped it would be a GS remake and everyone was saying "It's too late for that". Guess I was right after all :P

Really looking forward to this. Gold and Silver were my favourite. Heart Gold and Soul Silver sound a bit odd though.

Bah.

Should've made Pokemon Snap 2.
Not a winner anymore.

Gold and silver were indeed the best versions (for their time, of course). Goldenrod city remains my favorite town.

I have to say getting all 16 badges was the most fun back then, I also remember looking for Larvitars at Mt. Silver all the time. >.>
I can't wait!

HOORAY!
I've waited twenty years for this! Well, not really. I remember how I'd play the games for hours on my transparent purple Game Boy Color. I hope you'll be able to visit Kanto as well. Then I could transfer my FireRed Pokemon over to it. I'll be getting MainCardiovascularOrganYellowPreciousMetal. I mean HeartGold. Why? Frankly, I just like gold. It's rare, and worth a lot, and pretty to look at. Also, I don't believe in souls. Oh, we have consciousnesses, but some weird spirit thing that stores our essence or something? That just sounds ridiculous. However, this is A Comprehensive Pokemon Thread, not Religion, so I'll get back on topic.

What Johto Pokemon do you like? I like Dunsparce a lot. Discuss!
I came, I saw, I went back to bed.

I prefer the "blue" versions of all the pokemon games. Silver was also the version I got when it originally came out. Plus I think Lugia looks cooler than Ho-oh.

I loved the music in GSC, it still randomly plays in my head at times.

I always liked Yanma. Dunsparce was one of those random pokemon you run into and go 'WTF?'.

Refusing to play a game because the title isn't grounded in hard science? Are you aloud to play any games?

aloud

*twitch*

I'm going to get silver, as that was the version I originally had. I really can't remember any Johto pokemon of note, except Totodile. I will without a doubt be choosing Totodile as my starter.
