Or more reliably just spend how ever long it takes to exchange your cash for gaming chips then cash the chips in for TMs.

Don't you get them from Game Corner? That's where you get them in most of the other games.

Go play some slots.

Ahhh, yes Game Corner the only legal place for gamblers 10 and under. I lost everything there once.

You'll never know why.

Well, I defeated the Elite Four. Huzzah!  :D

Mainly because almost every single one of my Pokemon was good against flying types, and since that ALL that Lance has, it was fairly easy.

Pokemon: Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald (Firered/Leafgreen too!)
« Reply #1760 on: April 19, 2009, 09:31:49 am »
I see a thread about Gold/Silver, I see a thread about Diamond/Pearl. How about one for the third Generation?

I've made it to the Elite Four in Emerald, but the save got corrupted (#*$&%!) so I had to restart. Currently I'm heading for the Psychic gym (Lisa/Tate)

My current Pokemon are:

Torchick: Lvl 33 (w/ Blaze)
Quick Attack
Focus Energy
Peck
Ember
(I'm waiting for it to learn Flamethrower, and have stockpiled my heart scales to "relearn" it's Combusken moves and Blazeiken moves)

Breloom: Lvl 37 (w/ Effect spore)
Leech Seed
Bullet Seed (Going when I find a better grass-move/stat booster)
Mach Punch
Sky uppercut

Gardevoir: Lvl 35 (w/ Trace)
Calm Mind
Psychic
Double Team
Imprison

Swellow: Lvl 34 (w/ Guts)
Double Team
Wing Attack
Focus Energy
Fly

Trapinch: Lvl 24 (w/ Arena Trap)
Bite
Sand Attack
Faint Attack
Earthquake (via TM)
(Currently training to get mighty Flygon)

Solrock: Lvl 46 (w/ Levitate)
Solarbeam
Cosmic Power (Both Defenses up one stage)
Psywave
Rock Slide

Other Pokemon in my Box include:

Wobbuffet (too tempting)
Magneton
Lairon
Ninjask
Shedinja
Swablu
Spheal

Any suggestions from the Poke' Masters out there?

Hmmm...... *goes fake Poke-Professor* Its a balance team, but I feel as though your Gardevoir needs another offense attack. Also give the trapinch an EXP. share, if you haven't got one, get one..... What is each one holding as well?

You'll never know why.

Macho Brace: Torchic for now, but I switch it around
Exp. Share: Trapinch (way ahead of you) ;)
Cleanse Tag: Lead pokemon
Amulet Coin: Second in party

I also have various berries I usually put on before a gym battle, usually Sitris (heal 30 HP), Persim (heal confusion), and Cheri/Chesto/Pecha/Rawst/Aspear depending on who I'm fighting.

I'm also working towards a Shell Bell.

And, yeah, I've been concidering switching out Imprison for another attack move (preferably not psychic-type)

EDIT: Probably Shadow ball, just to mess with the other Psychics.

Shadow ball FTW in the gym! ;D Anyway, Shell Bell and Leftovers are always good items to have.

Just beat the Psychic Gym.

I've allready got a Magneton to handle Juan, so I'm looking ahead to the Elite Four. Any suggestions?

Not really, I never actively played RSE. Although I'd like to post my explanation of how Glalie and Froslass float. You see those horns? Those must be horns that control magnetism a la Magneto. They levitate by repelling Earth's magnetic field. I'm pretty sure that Glalie would have magnetic manipulation abilities, but Froslass could only levitate itself due to its smaller horns. Does anyone think this makes sense?

I remember back to Pokemon Red, I had a level 90 Alakazam. Pretty freaking sweet.
:O
Also, Gunner is one of the children.
It's true.

Well, technically Froslass is part ghost too so maybe it has some lighter-than-air gasses inside of it to help with the floating. After all some ghost types have some type of gas all around them or in them. Gastly(and evolutions) and Drifloon(and evolution) are examples of that.

Also, I just beat the Elite four and Champion in Platinum. It was so awesome how much the rooms changed for each one. :)

You'll never know why.
