Why does Samuel L. in that picture remind me a little of Ned from South Park?  :D

I've always wanted a tablet and pen thingy to draw with, using a mouse is tricky.

Could you rehost that as not imageshack... I cant see it  :'(

This scene always striked me as hilarious. Too bad they don't say those things. Oh well. I bet some people on board would have said those things.

Edit: Oh.. btw.. this is star wars if you didn't notice. It's either empire strikes back or return of the jedi.. I think it's return of the jedi.

Napoleon Dynamite with slightly higher production quality and more fleshed-out characters.

There were a lot of "kids find dreamscape/fantasy/super science/E.T movies around the time E.T came out. I don't know why E.T is the most famous of them, or maybe it was the first? :-\ Probably the marketing blitz that was created for it.

I think it's a nice story. I remember a few years ago I went on the ET ride at Universal Studios. And it was great, it was an older ride, and the effects were a bit cheesy, but it definately brought me back. I love that ride though. It reminded me how magical everything seems when your a kid.

I watched E.T. a couple of times and frankly, I think when you're young monsters either scare the bejeezus out of you or are appealing to you for their oddities. That said, I think I was too busy watching Dragonslayer to really care much about E.T.. If E.T. had any hold on me, it was short-lived compared to that flick.

You know what, I actually did make a movie with MS paint!  I made a bunch of frames and put them into power point, but they are lost to a computer.  Dang floppies were too small  :(
