SWU Battlefield: Taking over the Planets
« on: June 08, 2006, 08:44:54 pm »
Well after request I made this thread for every member of the SWU who is participating in the planet conquest in the Hidden Sector. First of some background info: The Rebel Torpals have discovered these three planets and were eager to start the conquest immediatly. The three planets are completely different. One of the planets is mainly desertious and is home to a very militaristic technoalleged Reptilianrace. The other two planets are yet to explore better to learn about the lifeforms but we can say that one of them is a Jungleplanet while the other is Arctic. Both planets inhabbit intelligent, pre-space societies.

The KOR and the Zrithig have already started a conquest on the Desert planet.

OK, both of you die and let us know what happens.

The fuffel command ships Tsunami and Inferno come out of
hyper space.

The fuffel admiral Kogg sends a message to the KOR,
// We will begin landing troops shortly. We Have hundreds
of Grotu battle mechs and offer our gunships for any air
support you may need.//

Two hundred fuffel carriers descend behind the KOR
front lines then begin unloading there troops.

//In the meantime some Zrithig DNA Collectors fly above the scattered remains of the first destroyed city. Every sample that is still alive is sucked in and later on transported into their ships for further investigation. All in all this happens while the "Farmers" spread the spores all over the destroyed constructs. As some fighters of the Zrithig race get closer to the core of the city the floor begins to move. A big hole opens in the floor and a giant metal Spiderlike Mech crawls out of the opening. It seems like the Mech is equipped with Missiles, simple ballistic weapons as Gattlings, and appaerantly big blades at the end of each leg. This mech is about 40 meters big and 40 meters wide. The Fighter-Zrithig start shooting at the Mech but their weapons seem to do no damage at all (Zrithig are designed to take over not to destroy after all). After several Fighters are destroyed the Zrithig decide to call upon their Fuffel allies.

//Fuffel Empire, we need some help with this mech we have here. It seems to be equipped with simple but effective weaponry but its armour is very powerful. We ask you to come to D1, F4 cordinates quickly to destroy this target. HOWEVER, DO NOT DESTROY IT COMPLETELY. We want some samples of the metal as it could prove itself to be useful to the SWU mission.
OK, both of you die and let us know what happens.

The voice of the commander of the torpal dissidents' fleet enters his allies' ships, as he broadcasts a message, grinning.
//S.W.U. brethren, 3 of our warships have arrived! Our dropships will bring troops to the frontlines shortly, while we mobilize the rest of our forces.//

"Ahh, mindless killing...couldn't do that anymore with the torpal military nowadays..." The commander said to himself as he closed communications with his allies. As he began thinking of all the fun that was about to begin, a tear rolled down his cheek. "Slaughter..." he said to himself, as he sniffled and wiped the tear from his face, "...it's really the little things in life that are beautiful."

We will send several of our mechs to that location
we will focus on that mech's legs that should
disable it. then we shall enter that tunnel it came
out of.

The distinct yet distant signature of a fleet dropping out of hyperspace heralded the appearance of a small group of Icthian ships, which slowly cruised insystem whilst running full scans at a speed of around 1 microlight. They came to a halt a respectful distance from the massed fleets already insystem, and appeared to be waiting.

Our units have engaged the enemy mech
and are in the process of disabling it.

With a few up-grades that will make an impressive replacement
to our mechs.

OK enemy mech disabled entering tunnel.
hopefully we can get our trunks on the
plans to that mech.

//armour-plated lava-lizards?  command ships
take defensive  poisions. Scouts give us a full
scan of the enemy. preheat cannons load all
missile bays.// Admiral Kogg closed communications
and said why can't every day be this fun.

A Matarissan squad followed a few foragers on the outskirts of a town. After the reptilian alarm was raised, a Matarissan dropship landed, spilling death into the little town.

A signal came from the Icthian fleet, notifying an approach to the planet. Fired up its engines, the group of ships slowly moved to enter orbit alongside the fleets of the invaders.

We have received this report from our re-con squad
//The hole that mech came out of appears to be an
entrance to some kind of massive factory. It may
be larger than the city above it. We have found
several more of those large mecks but none
appear to be operational. we need reinforcements
if we are to capture this facility.//

We are sending reinforcements. If anyone Else will
send reinforcements it will be appreciated.

Have we recived word on or from those lava-lizzards?

//Some strikers are send down the hole as we speak. They are equipped with flamethrowers, rocketlaunchers, and some basic phaseremitters.

As we we fly down the hole we notice some great technological advancements. Besides the mechfactory, and the various weapons designed into the mechs, we find a vast computer network that has plans for a Supracannon. A Supracannon, as it appears, is basically a black hole in a can. The production seems rather simple. Its scary that such a primitive race could, and would come up with such destructive weapons. We copied the plans anyway and try to construct them in the following days. Its time to discover the mechfactory.

The main design of the Reptilionoids seems to be the Spiderlike design we have experienced abovegrounds. No wonder, as this design allows agility, strength, and support. We also find several other mechdesigns. One design, apparantly called TZ-55, resembles a huge tank that is about the size of a small town. It is slow, but equipped with all kinds of weapons, and its also mantled with the powerful metal encountered in the spidermech. This design suits the Zrithig plan therefore they copy it.

Your assistance has been more than helpfull
we have taken over 90% of this factory.
however we are meting some heavy resistance
at the main control room. If we can capture it
in tact we can more easily create an army
of these things. Because of the delicate equipment
we must rely on maylay combat.

The ViS carrier in orbit targets the obelisk as best it can and initiates the beam. The obelisk is safely transported into the cargo hold. Due to various energy fields the lizards have erected a narrower beam could not be used, so a sizeable chunk of the plaza was beamed up with it...

//This is the cruiser. We have the obelisk and a large number of alien soldiers. We have placed them in cryogenic storage. This means that destroying this civilisation on the planet is no longer complete genocide. You may continue your occupation. Administration will pay 1 million standard galactic credits for the artefact, this sum will be deposited in the SWU treasury shortly.//

Matarissan dropships land outside of the city walls, and quickly storm to the plaza. Many of the Matarissans are slaughtered by the lizards, but they do manage to secure the plaza. One of the Matarissan scouts after the main skirmish discover the reptilian governor who locked himself in an underground bunker. We wish to know what to do with him...

We captured the factory, now all we have
to do is mop up any remaining surviveors.
last thing we need is a gureilla war or
saboteurs. After we clean up we can
enjoy the spoils of war.

As the Matarissan scouts drag the governor along with them, they see a brilliant light from the explosion. The Matarissans round up the survivors of the blast and line them up. After skinning the governor and putting the skin on their ships, they blast all of the survivors away with the ion cannons of a Razor-Class dropship. \\The governor still appears to be alive. The Matarissan detatchment requests a pardon to take him with us...he he he.\\

The Matarissans realize that there are many conflicts at the moment, and a few of our S.W.U. members are away, but they think that the S.W.U. should start to increase their power. While most alliances are not expanding alot, we should take this oppurtunity to continue throughout the universe.

//This is the Matarissan Admiral from Nova 1 Fleet. At this moment, we are currently being attacked by a large force of "Dust-Walkers" (Sand-Matarissans). They also seem to be united with some other kind of creature. Request the aid from S.W.U. forces to conquer this emerging threat.//
