How do I join a channel with the IRC plugin?
    First create the account, then sign on. After you have signed on, you can use File->Join A Chat on the buddy list to join a channel. In any window, either a conversation or a chat, in which your IRC user is the sender, you can also use /join to connect to a new channel.

I assume that you enter irc.gamesnet.net when you create the account.  When you use the join a chat function, type in #gamingsteve.

If that doesn't work, ask Danzik.  I think he uses Gaim.  I don't.

Well, the problem is that I can't create an account, it rejects my email, which is correct, so I don't know why it is rejecting it.

It's pretty easy to use, when you open it a server window pops up, click on gamesnet, when thats open click the server menu and select join channel and type in #gamingsteve.

I see you got yours working, but I'll still post this in case other people want to see it.

Now, I know the two factions there. One is the Wang Collectors, who are good and therefore friendly to us. The other is the Shining Ones, level 7 Evil faction. Could be a problem there...

Master Daxx, I ask permission to represent the GamingSteve faction as a diplomat while I wander the map. I will deal specifically with good and neutral factions, and attempt to establish good relations with them as allies and friends. I will help get our name out there and get us on the (no pun intended) good side of our fellow good factions.
