Sad for my DS..
« on: May 31, 2006, 11:51:06 pm »
Just recently got metroid prime: hunters.. (second game, yay!.. :( )

Well, sad to say, I had to play it in the car too much, and we have some bad roads up here.. my poor ds.. :(

It now has a horrible scratchy circle area in the middle, that scratches my ds pen, causing the pen to scratch the screen worse.. which in turn scratches the pen worse..  :'(   cursed car..

So sad.. anyone else get a scratchy circle in the middle of the touchscreen from this game?.. Mine is so bad that if I pass the pen over the scratches.. it makes a horrid sound!.. I hate cars. I thought I might be trying far to hard to aim carefully in a car.. I hate , stuff...

P.S. Nintendo, can ya release replacement touchscreen for the common people? or do I have to go to some factory to get it fixed up?

Don't really see how they could just sell replacement touchscreens, but if you sent it to them, they'd probably repair it, but I don't imagine that would be for free.
Frankly, I'd just wait a few weeks and buy a DS Lite, you may not believe it just by looking at one, but it is a massive improvement, especially for a dark game such as Metroid.

Then contact Nintendo, tell them of your problem, and see what they can do for you. That said, I think the DS Lite is the better choice.

Or you can do what Patman did, where you just send in your DS without any explanation of what happened to it and get it back in 3 weeks.

Next time, get a screen protector...  :-\
And try what you can at a retail store, maybe they can help.

As much as I hate PSP fanboys, there are about 10 good games out for it. They'll flaunt that in your face any time they can.

AND THE SCREEN IS BIGGER TOO
AND THERE'S AN ANALOG STICK
WHAT ABOUT GTA? YOU CAN'T PLAY GTA!
IT'S A LOT FASTER
THE PSP HAS A LOT OF LONG-STANDING FRANCHISES

Those are the actual points my friend tried to make to me when I told him that I was buying a DS, and he thought I should get a PSP.

Don't be a hater.

Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Anyway, there are a lot of good games out for the PSP. But there is a lot of good games out for the DS to. So it really comes down to what you want.
