Well, I just spent the last two hours making a transcript of the interview.  I can post it on the forum, e-mail to Steve, or e-mail it to individuals, whatever works.

(you'll just have to get next weeks, Areku, cause I am NOT doing this again).

I got most of the interview down, there were a few parts where I couldn't understand what was being said, but I got most of it.

Wait, I just uploaded a new version (I just got it back from my audio engineer friend). Download the new podcast and give it a check, it should be much clearer.

Email it to me if you can and I'll post it and format it and all.

Thanks man, I owe you a beer or something...

CURSES, beaten again to the punch, and after I spent an hour and a half trying to listen to it and type it up!!  :'( ....the better man won

And Areku, its not a competition, its a cooperative effort.  A cooperative effort that I won, by the way.

Just wondering, since you mentioned underwater creatures, any word on whether flying creatures are possible? I seemed to remember a flying creature being referenced (whether by example or not I don't know), in one of the gamespy or gamespot articles, so any info is appreciated. thanks ;)

In one of the reviews, I think they said something to the effect of "If your world needs a flying carnivore, it will download one." Sort of a balance thing, so... if that's accurate, that means "yes."
Since when is being "normal" a requirement for survival? Exactly.
"Is it funny? No? Not interested."

There are flying creatures. If you look carefully in the gdc video right when Will's tripod leaves the water you see four-winged birds flying around.

Try reading the forums before asking questions, flying creatures have been confirmed already.

I think that we the people should do an updated FAQ to submit to steve.  He's got enough to do with the podcasts and getting really crazy interviews to update that. That's why people keep asking questions over and over.
