I liked the first book, and the 2nd one is coming out soon.

They did an interveiw with the author here

It looks like a pulp sci-fi book from the 50s.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

I hope they're better than the comic books. Those were dreadful.
The ones with the freedom phalanx certainly were. The one with slightly more original characters was better.

The ones with the freedom phalanx certainly were. The one with slightly more original characters was better.
Maybe, but I can't bring myself to purchase City of Heroes when I could be buying Invincible or Squadron Supreme.

... that works ... even though I don't play that game anymore.
