As far as I know, once discs are printed they're read-only. You can't "modify a copy" of brawl to have unlocked online play because the limitation isn't on the disc. That and the US/EU servers arent even open yet...

While that is true, you can play with Wii codes normally in your regions and spectate others. You can even place bets with your coins as to who will win.

The AI is much harder this time too. I could beat 8-9 on the Melee, but I'm having the same difficulty beating 4-5 on Brawl

Yeah, I was playing Luigi a bit today and discovered his explosive charge thing. I never knew he could do that!

Happens to me all the time . That's the only reason why I use Luigi on Large stages like Hyrle Temple Stage.

Other than that I just have to complain about one thing: The inclusion of certain characters in brawl (sure this has been discussed before, but I just can't hold it in). Characters like Olimar and R.O.B I am just getting fed up with. I mean at first I was excited to see the Captin in the game, but knowing he can just do basic down smash kicks without his pikimin to help him he seems kind of useless . And I know the strategy to use him is key but it just seems like they through him in at the last second, I know every character has pros and cons but I don't really think he deserved to be in brawl.

Lastly wtf was ROB included? C'mon, ROB? Hey he's not a bad fighter and all and he does have some strong smash attacks but ROB one of the long lost and forgotten toys of the 80's joins the brawl. It's not that I don't like ROB it just feels like they could have included other more meaningful crossover characters to the smash fest.
I know it seems like I am Bawwwing over something that I shouldn't be but I just had to get that off my chest. If anyone has any other good suggestion for a player that could've been in the game then by all means comment.

Am I the only one who's heard that they're making a R.O.B. movie?? I couldn't find it on Wikipedia or Google, so I doubt it... but if that's true then it's just a promotional gimmick.

Anyways, there's nothing I love more than ranting about the characters in Brawl. Pretty awesome, IMHO, for the most part. But seriously, screw Diddy Kong, screw Marth, SCREW Lucas, screw all the clones (especially the fact that there's 2 clones for Fox, even though he's my fav), screw the fact that they didn't overhaul Ganondorf.

Better characters? I know Megaman would've been tough to liscense, but what about Tails? He's in the game already and would've been sweet. How about that chick from Eternal Darkness, one of the Cube's greatest games? Krystal would've been nice for her unique moveset she'd have had, even though we all hate her. But we've been her already. And how about the Miis? That's what I was really hoping for, and posted a while ago, but if you could put the Miis you created into Brawl...hot damn! Of course the moveset would be the same for all the characters, and they could adjust to one specific size for all the Miis, but even if you just could change the appearance...

Oh yeah, and Luigi's Mansion looks alright to me...

Diddy is not near a clone. He is completely unique. Ike and Marth have similar fighting styles, but the only move in common is their counter. Ike, in my opinion, is a slightly nerfed Roy, though he still owns. Lucas plays surprisingly different from Ness, though he is a bit clonish. The two Fox clones are also kind-of-clones. Falco is a given, but Wolf is a much heavier version. I haven't played much with Ganondorf in either game, so I can't say much about that.

Subspace emissary is very long. I beat it at about 80% completion and 9 hours of game time. It got tedious after a while, but it was worth it.

I watched videos of the whole adventure. Seems pretty tedious and chore-ish to me already. I'm not going to bother attempting to unlock all the characters with subspace alone, I can easily do it faster with multiplayer or events.
