Buys Video Games at Sears

Does Sears even sell video games? If not, I'm just assuming that that is the point of the joke.

Why do you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?

I saw some really crappy games at Sears once.

Sears is like the really sad suburban gamer's gaming store.

I would have imagined that the best thing that they had, if anything, would be something about a decade old.

Oh they have new games...they're all just marked up by like ten dollars. And only suburban kids who can have their mothers buy the games can afford it.

I used to buy certain games at CostCo. They were a lot cheaper there, if you happened to stumble upon the one you wanted.

I've done that a couple times. For the most part they have brand new games and all the greatest hits games. :P No semi-new games or anything.

And that is what makes it funny!

Keep posting (but don't post just any old thing) but your "tag" will continue to change and update. Right now all of the references are from the very early days of gaming (70s, very early 80s) and few others mixed in. The more you post, the closer you'll get to games of "today".

So keep posting and see if you can get all the references (3-D Tic-Tac-Toe anyone?)

Yes. Warehouse retailers tend to have a fairly good selection of games. Better than Sears, at least.

I wonder if anyone will become known as "Master Chief"

Thats the insult tag I guess? I wouldn't want to be known as Master Chief.

The point is that Halo 2 is probably the newest, most popular game out there.

I'm going to say that Halo 2 has lost almost all of its popularity. Some people still play it online but Bungie's X-Box Live count has gone down exponentially.
