Yes I am! Thanks guys its good to be back!
The Discovery: The crew of the
Nova-Prime where gathered in the briefing room, waiting for the results from the analysis of the data core.
At last the chief engineer entered the room with the crystal like memory bank connected to one of their own computers.
“Please be still everybody, I have the report here!” he said.
“First the bad news; the devise is damaged!”
A murmur ran through the crowd.
“We could not expect any less, since the sheer force of the explosion that destroyed the
Originator was so immensely powerful, that it destroyed all in a radius of 100 km. It is indeed shocking that this part of the central systems survived!”
“it was possible for us to interface with the devise BECAUSE of the damage, the fail safe programs protecting the content had all been incapacitated and neutralised… unfortunately, the content is also degraded. We have spent the last day trying to find some readable data, but only found this…”
The room darkened and a holographic image appeared over the gathered.
Axon rose from his seat as he recognised what he was looking at… A STAR MAP.
…
One hour later on the bridge:“ALL RIGHT, STATIONS PEOPLE!” shouted captain Axon, to the crew through the intercom.
“Prepare for hyperspace jump on my mark!”
The crew worked like never before, they where rejuvenated by the hope the precursor map had given them.
If the map was right, then the
Originator had not been the last, of their creators’ space stations. The hope for a new
Originator was now everything, for the crew of the
Nova-Prime.
Axon knew though that is was more than just a long shot, and that the map could easily be wrong. But it was hope… a small hope, but hope non the less.
“MARK!”
Space stretched around the ship and it jumped from the debris field.
...
Location: thought-to-be-empty space in the outer rim of the galaxy.
Nova-Prime jumped from hyperspace.
All the ships alarms went of as the strain of the hyperspace jump had overloaded several systems in the old ship.
“Report!” Axon demanded.
“Nothing we can’t handle, shall we begin scanning for the possible station, sir?”
“I don’t think that’s necessary” Axon replied the officer as he gazed out of the front of the bridge. “I think we have found it!”

“What kind of station is that?” one of the bridge officers asked.
Axon was dumbstruck. “I don’t know… but it’s a lot bigger that the Originator!”
