The Revolution will sell very well, but I think 200 million might be pushing it -- and if it did, it certainly wouldn't be because of World of PokeCatch. Though as has been stated, a really well done version of that game online could prove insanely good. I don't even care if it's a MMO or something closer to Guild Wars, it would be very, very nice.

Which was kind of my point Pokemon has to be the most unbalanced game ever made. I have no idea how I get so addicted to it when a new one comes out.

Its addictive.

Yeah. Balance issues would be tough to sort out. Its clear that some Pokes are much tougher than others. One of the legendary birds (or dogs... or uh, what were those things in ruby/saphire?) could totally thrash a team of 6 of those weird sunflower guys of the same level.
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

You certainly wouldn't be able to catch legendary pokemon.  They'd be NPCs.

I'd buy a pokemon MMO.

I highly doubt they would do such a thing however.  Pokemon mainly appeals to kids, a group which is not likely to pay 15 dollars a month to play a game.

In what way is it unbalanced?  It has to be one of the most balanced RPG's ever.  If you know what you're doing, almost any Pokemon can be used as a strategic member of the time, that can even take down Legendarys.

Nintendos online services are free, but if you want to play an MMO, it's going to cost you money a month.

It's arcadey and unpredictable.  A critical hit in Pokemon is about 10 times as powerful in any other game I've played.

yupe Phantasy Star Online was pay to play online.  I think it was five bucks, but it wasn't a huge MMO or wasn't supposed to be.
