Which ones?
Free immigration: No race would want to live in ViS space by choice
and
Free religion: The ViS have no religion and would never be converted to one so it doesnt matter.

ok, so thats two  :-[... but the other terms are acceptable. Can the Administration have its alliance membership fun pack now?

The criteria for membership are quite broad so a name which doesnt imply any rigid concepts (like Peace, Harmony, Destruction etc) would be best. That said the alliance is dedicated to the interchange of scientific and technological knowledge...

maybe: The Collaboration of Advanced Systems

Or, The League of Developed Species

Something quite generic.

We have quite differnt creeatures- we defenitly need a generic name!

As The ViS are in, should we allow their enemies (the Viziera and the Torpal, off the top of my head) in?

I would guess that this would take place after the Galactic War in the fanfic timeline, so it's up to those people as to whether they can resolve their differences or whether the war makes them bitter enemies.

The Urshans do show interest in working together with other species.

Sharing their knowledge and technology is always a good thing the way they see it.

One question: How open must be the Urshans to other religions? the priests of "The Rise" do wish to send the word and teach others but anti scholar or militaristic religions would disturb them.

The Urshans will be "Head of Education". I am sure no militaristic religions will spread in your system- my religion Dhulam, is non-violent.

The Kaldri is willing to join the Alliance. We would prefer to be Head of Defense, as we have superb military strategists working day and night. We will tolerate other religions in our system, but we will not build religious structures of any sort, and we will not allow any sort of religious advertising.

(The Kaldri will of course have some secrets for themselves that they won't share, if you what I mean.  ;))

The (slightly Dodgy) Kaldri are welcome in the Alliance! You do us honur with your presence /bows.

I though of a rtaher bad name; but its generic: iAB: The Interplanetary association of beings.

Someone should make a poll, suggested names so far are:
iAB
League of Developed Species.
The Collaboration of Advanced Systems

I suggest that we should note that letting people into your colonies to preach doesn't necessarily have to convert people (though in my case not a few Icthians have joined the Dhulam, and I'm sure minorities will join other faiths), so you don't have to worry. After all, the sharing of ideas and philosophies is partly what this alliance is all about.

Will the newest members of the alliance accept Icthian colonies in the oceans of their worlds?
