Visual creature concepts.
« on: May 10, 2005, 09:37:04 am »
Okay, I know there are threads out there with what there first creature/race will look like and do.. but this ones a little different.  Due to the enormous time on my hands this week and the fact that I'm just well.. a nerd, I thought it would be cool to paint a creature Id want to make in spore.

So this thread is for posting your visual  ideas/concepts for creatures.

Am really itching for this game!  ;D

He is a herbivore called a BOSh. Not sure why.  ???

Imagedump.com is could for storing pics, for those of you who want to submit ideas!

Painted him completely into adobe photoshop CS for anyone that cares.

It could be frankie. It could be very fresh and clean. It could be a balloon.

Wow. That's pretty impressive.

Usually, I'm don't post this kind of post, but your art is several cuts above what I expected. It's really good!

I can't draw very good in Photoshop, and I can't really top that with anything I make in paint, so just imagine a strange creature with two heads, one on either end of a snakelike body. I call it Bolo.

Edit: Okay, I drew a Bolo. http://img152.echo.cx/my.php?image=bolo3zd.png
Guess how it hunts.

You're creature is looking at me. Stop that.

I posted a picture I drew of the dude I am going to make in the other thread and was disapointed that not many others did. It made me make a ": ("

Legodragonxp had a really good idea for a species...a bunch of legos! I have tried to illustrate it with this fast, rough sketch...just for the fun of it.

Very cool, though mating would probably get a bit confusing.
