DevilMachine:  OMG(nice)desktop ;) That certainly is a fantastic desk. I can't stand many Icons on the desk either. Don't use them anyway, most apps I use are open all the time or have a shortcut in the taskbar.

So here's mine:

Running Ubuntu Linux 5.10 Breezy Badger

Not the nicest wallpaper, but I miss this game so much....can't get it to work on Linux :(
Does anyone no the Trackmania series at all ? Or is it an EU-only game ?

You can actually have an animated GIF as a background. It of course slows down operation if it's big and gets annoying after a while.

I tiled my whole desktop with dancing ninjas.

Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

Here's mine. It is totally not too cluttered.

Edit: hmm.... dunno whats up with the big black box.

Edit MK. II:

New one works, but I'm keeping the black box one.

W00t! Impossible Creatures! I still play that!

hmm...mines a .bmp, but I guess I can convert it to show y'all (click for full size):

Looks pretty nice tiled on my dual monitor setup...works well despite that one is 1600x900 and the other 1280x1024
Made it out of a low res image of a comic book cover that came up on a google image search...I spent way more time on creating the final image than any sane person would.
oh and I keep all my icons invisible.  I use the quick launch toolbar and address bar for everything :)

...or am I supposed to be posting action shots?

Use those talents you have. You will make it. You will give joy to the world. Take this tip from nature: The woods would be a very silent place if no birds sang except those who sang best.

Here's the wallpaper. http://www.aoqz76.dsl.pipex.com/Web%20Page%20Components/Wallpaper/Planes/Harrier.jpg

I just have some random links and applications on my desktop, and I have the silver color theme for XP.

I thought I was the only one who played Impossible Creatures. My favorite part of that game is still designing the creatures.

like hardcore pr0n?

you could always just remove them from the desktop while taking a screenshot, or put a black box over them, or blur them, the list goes on.
