This was always going to happen.  It was delayed to a point where it coincides with the Revolutions launch, I was just waiting for them to announce this.  Anyway, that's pretty cool.  I've been a little skeptical about getting a Rev at launch, but if it has a new Mario game AND a new Zelda game, then I'm sold.

omg! dont buy a Revolution on release that crazy, it will coz like $600AUS. Just wait till it drops down to $100 like the gamecube, lol i just recently purchased a gamecube for $60, and then I bought Metroid Prime 2 which cost me $69.95, which is more than the console. It was funny at the time I was like what should I buy a PS2, Xbox or PC game or I could buy a Gamecube console.

You do realise the GCN has now been out for what, three years now?
Personally, I want to actually PLAY the console.

Four.  And I think the Revolution will also improve the draw distance, have less slowdown, and give you access to areas with much more enemies.

I'll be surprised if the Revolution costs more than $250 US.

I would be surprised if the revolution cost more than $200 US.  It seems that is the price they used for the previous system, and the low price is pefect for their target market.

That is pretty awsome, using the controller to swing the sword.

I'll have to get my hands on that.

Which kinda makes me wonder... does anyone remember the original release price for the N64? Or even the SNES and NES for that matter?
Currently playing:

Rocket Slime (DS)             Guitar Hero II (PS2)
Resistance (PS3)               Zelda (Wii)

So many good games, so little time...
