why don't we all just play nice and change the storyline a little?
for example:

The V-Man sitting at the bar had a problem. There was a job that needed to be done, and he needed to find someone to do it. After listening to some alien low-lifes talk for a while, he heard about a local Anubian bounty hunter, Hype Tosh, and that he was pretty darned good at what he did. So the V-Man made a few phone calls until finally...
"Is this Hype Tosh?"
"Yeah"
"Meet me in the alley outside of Praygor's in half an hour"
"You pay cash?"
"Of course"
The V-man finished his drink and went outside. Hidden in the dark alley, like he'd said, was a lone Anubian.
The V-Man started down the alley, when the Anubian spoke up.
"How much you payin'?"
"2500 credits"
"Make it 5000"
*sigh* "Fine, 5000 credits"
The Anubian stepped out of the shadows.
"Hype Tosh at your service."
And the V-Man began to tell Hype the assignment...

see, now isn't that better? the story's pretty much the same, the pictures work, and the natural laws of v-men go unbroken... ;D

What me, well i'm sorta powering up to send thousands of ships to this sector, which will be pants for the game to be honest, so something needs to happen, ie, the first shots ;)

well i've waited long enough to join anyway, so if no one objects, i'd be honored to fire those first shots ;D

Which side would the torpals choose????

Oh, right, they'd probably try to kill them both. ;)

well, i figured that they'd side with the vizeara, becasue no one else is, and it would be more of a 'challenge'

then i figured if our 'side' won, then they'd fight the vizeara...

Actually, I was waiting on turns, but seeing how that wasn't happening, I did have two pictures ready to be posted for the Vizeara to respond to, since the Alroaxt would side with them and absolutely detest the ViS.  But I'm at the university right now and I'd have to get home first to post it.

On Vizeara? No. The ViS are just holding fast around the planet they stripped.

The Alroaxt, having kept an eye on the Vizeara, were ready to make their move and propose a sort of friendship between their races. The Alroaxt are intrigue by the Vizeara's affinity to nature, and believe them to be direct descendents of their god of nature, Jokt. Though they do respect their believe in their goddess, so they only call them the creatures of nature. They sent one of the diplomatic ships of the Path of Balance to their planet:

Though, since this ship is weaponless, and they had heard reports of disturbances they brought their Flow of Chaos warships to scout this area of space:

Always on the lookout for enemies, as the Alroaxt are not known to be the most passive of creatures in the universe, for their religious zealotry and continued stubbornness to accept some creatures' godless ideals.  Little did they know of the Vizeara's troubles with the Alroaxt most hated beings, the ViS.  The fact that they simplify everything and their shapeless bodies makes it hard for them to place a patron god for them, makes the Alroaxt think of the ViS as abominations.  Though some are willing to work with them, most Alroaxt don't hold back from showing their disgust of them.
