In order to ensure that this never happens again the Caarnth have created a research station on the border of The Aegis system, in a stable orbit around the black hole. The Caarnth where able to secure a few living samples of the parasite (and many thousands of dead ones) The OTHER and CAB alliances have been offered a chance to join the Caarnth in researching what the parasite is, and where it might of come from, the only condition is that no one who wishes to research the parasite can ask where (or rather who) the samples came from (but you can all guess).

OOC: I'm thinking of a super metroid combined with metroid prime:hunters situation when everyone wants to start another adventure

Throw in Metroid fusion as well. The Caarnth mutate the parasite, it gets into the station's ventialtion systems and turns everyone into a lurching zombie. A task force of CAB and OTHER members will need to infiltrate the station and prevent the parasite from getting loose and rescue any survivors.

With specialised 2 or 3 man task forces from each race, with actual charcter and persoanlity and background!!!!

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to recover the remaining samples of the Halcyon Parasite, rescue any survivors and discover the original source..........

Nope. As the creator of Halcyon I put my foot down on that idea. How can that be a decoy? It dominates utterly. Its like saying the Americans dropped the bomb on Hiroshima as a 'decoy'.

I think it would be cool if we send a ship to investigate the origin of the Paracite.

With multi species crew; Naucean science officers, Mallen doctors, Torpal warriors, Oifan-Umtag linguists, Wexxian engineers and that kind  of things.

I think that it could be cool, however it would also become complicated and a bit difficult to make a collective story out of (and it is also a littel to much Star Trek  )

Yes, I'm the literal creator of Halcyon.

But what happened wasnt an 'attack'. That isnt the way Halcyon works. It just spreads from world to world almost randomly. It isnt an organisation like the CAB or OTHER. Its like a culture which moves from planet to planet. It wasnt really Halcyon which started the war and the battle of Thishen, it was the Icthians, Urshan and ViS fed up with the alliances poking around in their affairs.

After the parasite had been removed from all citizens Icthian officials passed numerous new laws to ensure that such a security breach could never happen again. The destroyed fleet at Thishen was a great loss but plans were underway to build replacements. Studies of Icthian battle tactics at Thishen are now leading to further advances in anti-ship weaponry and upgrades to fighters; combined with Halcyon technology that was retained, the fleet would hopefully be more effective. Socially, the Icthian people mourn for their dead, especially those wiped out by the Caarnth toxin. Though it is accepted in diplomatic circles that the actions of the Caarnth were understandable, there remains a great hatred amongst the Icthian people.
Amongst the governments of the Icthian homeworld, squabbling broke out as to who was responsible for the propagation of the parasite. As such, tensions remain high between nations and external diplomacy is suffering as a result, as the various governments take steps to disassociate themselves from the others even at the extraterrestrial level.

Yeah, I can imagine that they aren't too freindly towards the Caarnth seeing as they wiped out many Icthians with the cellular toxin rather than wait for the vaccine, Also if anyone wants to launch an investigation into the Halycon parasite we could incoporate that into the adventure, however, could someone else *run* the adventure as I've goty exams at the moment and are very busy.

The gopiaribe go back to their home system and the "Far Gap" has it's shield and generators upgraded as well as going under a major redesign

Helokir Mankar, the fleet admiral who was in charge of The Bringer of Serenity, was awarded the medal of bravery, for challenging the ship atleast 3 times bigger than The Bringer of Serenity.

Heh that ship was more than 3x as big as his so give him a even bigger medal

The debriefing did not take long but the after battel party took almost two days; in witch substantial amounts of alcoholic Grobut and other near illegal alcoholic liquids where consumed, the Wexxian responded to this by decreasing their behavior inhibiter's and joining the fun!
