Good games I missed out on.
« on: March 15, 2006, 11:40:57 am »
1) Splinter Cell - haven't even touched it.
2) Metroid Prime - got sick of it after I had to get to save spots.
3) Half-Life - Just been putting it off.
4) Resident Evil - see #2
5) Final Fantasy - don't have a PS2.
6) Metal Gear Solid - ditto.
7) Psychonauts

Post yours, and forgive me.

out of those i would only say that Half-Life is just a must, with mgs coming in second.
i missed a few. also is it just me or is splinter cell way over rated? i really hated the first two
and the third one was ok.

1. planescape torment (that i'm now playing while i wait for oblivion)
2. WoW ( i have never been in to any of the mmorpg only Planetside)
3. i never played any of the Baldurs Gate games
4. perfect dark orginal, i hear its really good
5. age of empires series, i was just getting out of rts games as the second
one came out haha.
eh i cant really think of many games that i have missed,
all the ones that were great i usually play.

Half life: I was spoiled by the sequel and now the first game is frustrating... no real-world physics? Grr!
Starcraft... I hadnt even heard of it until I joined these forums <shocked>
Every good game ever released for the N64

I played Psychonauts! Haha, nice game, not too good, but original enough to get me going.

My list:

-Gitarroo man
-Shadow of the Collossus
-Fable
-Planescape Torment
-Baldurs Gate 2
-F.E.A.R.
-A lot of DS games(I'm still going to buy a DS though, once it gets cheaper)
-Paper Mario:Thousand Year Door
-Silver (have played it in the past, but I sadly haven't been able to play it ever since, due to some saddening technical difficulties.)

Uru Live! (I really wanted to be part of it but I missed the boat)
Final Fantasy X (Never had a PS2, hopefully they emulators are working better in a few years)

You quit Metroid Prime? Oh man, you have no idea what you are missing out on! Especially at the end. By far one of the greatest games created!

cause you have to keep such good track of were your going (like all the metroid games)
