A Critical History of Video Games
« on: March 13, 2006, 08:04:16 pm »
This is about all types of video games, not just PC games.

I'm writing a "Critical History of Video Games" which attempts to VERY briefly show the development of video game styles, techniques, and technology. Most histories of video games are histories of the people or the industry, but not the games themselves, so I wanted to write a history of video games themselves. However, I'm not a video game buff or historian, so I'd love it if some of the more knowledgeable people from this excellent gaming site would provide feedback to my history of videogames.

Note that not all categories are written up.

Thats crazy, man!
For my English 11 Mid-term, I've been writing "A Brief History of Gaming". Up to about 10 pages now, probably going to get points deducted for length, but I'm just totally into it :p

Ahaha, just now up to the Commodore 64, too.
Coming up next: The dark ages... :D

Killer. Are you willing to post that thing to the 'net when you complete it?
