Also, I feel slightly insulted by the "not a real gamer" comment... =P

That was only a joke. But do at least try it if you aren't interested in buying it. It's one of those classic games that people will talk about for years to come.

No worries Steve, that was said as a tongue-in-cheek comment really. =)

What I really don't understand is how you can take the MMO out of an MMORPG and still keep it interesting. I've been having some problems adapting to these modern RPGs like KOTOR and such. I don't really like to bash games before I play them though, so I guess Oblivion's another game being added to the list for after I graduate and join the pool of newly unemployeds. =P

You could say Oblivion is next-next-next gen Diablo :-P, It's very different from KOTOR. It's basically a huge world where you do everything in your own time. All the combat is in real time (you're in conrtol, so no pausing, no turn based action), and you play in First Person with an optional 3rd person mode. Trust me it is interesting, I find that there's so much stuff to do it's overwhelming! I honestly don't know where to start.

Not directed at you, I think no-one can say they totally dont like RPG's because there are so many different types, if you compare Oblivion to Final Fantasy to Kotor to World of Warcraft, you could almost say they're totally differnt genres.

I wish the Xbox Live Manager would have discussed larger Arcade releases like the upcoming Street Fighter II release.

Steve, with Revolution getting the old NES, Sega, NEC games -- does Arcade stand a chance of getting some of these too?

I know Arcade won't get old NES games, but is there a chance we could see Sonic, Streets of Rage, etc... on Live Arcade?

I don't think that Live Arcade and Revolutions Virtual Console will need to compete at all. I can easily see the two services getting plenty of titles, and plenty of the same ones. Nintendo has stated that its Virtual Console will also support new games, not just old NES, SNES, ect. games.

What I really want to know it whether Nintendo will have all of the greatest games from the older platforms avaliable on day one, or if they take a similar approach to what Microsoft is doing, and slowly release titles over the weeks and months.

Hi all,

Just wanted to say that Oblivion is slowly taking over my life.  It just gets better the longer you play and level up with the introduction of new weapons, armour and enemies.  It's just a great great game.  I'm hitting 60 hours and I've not even been to Kvatch yet...

anyway,

What I was wondering is do people actually complain that the podcasts are too long?  I can't believe that.

Keep up the good work Steve, looking forward to the next episode.

What wouldst thou do?
