Sounds pretty screwy to me.

Lucky for the Black-to-White family, though.

You'll really have to explain this to me, from the description the families seem to be coming from very similar families.  So please indulge me into what says they get the better half of the deal. Because if I'm reading this like I think I am. You find them lucky because they get to experience being white.. then you DEFINATELY need to watch this show.

On a lighter note anyone else think Rose looks better Black?

Because everyone treats White people more nicely.  It's not that African-Americans are inferior, its just that they're treated like they are.  They'll have a much easier time than the White-to-Black family will.

I wish it weren't so, but it's true.

It's a show with a message. Race, Color is completely a physical feature. The fact It's so Easy to do something like this, it just shows to the world that the color of your skin doesn't have anything to do with the kind of person you are. I like the music video. (They play it in the downloads section) I think I'll watch it.
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

And there is a place in the world where the US is severely lagging behind the rest of the world. I'm not saying racism doesn't exsist anywhere else, but for many areas in the western world that I've been to racism against black people  isn't much of an issue anymore...

But you are sadly right..

I'm wondering how they'll do realistic voices.  That probably would take a lot of practice.

Well if you want to confrm to stereotypes then the White to black family will start talking like gangstas and the black to white family will put on high-pitched nasal voices.

Sounds like a nice idea, but can it really be entertaining beyond the initial shock factor?

we had something like this on British TV but on a smaller scale. It was called 'Trading races' or something like that and it was only two people swapping. The white guy admitted at the start that he was a bit scared of black people but the experience of being one 'cured' him... I cant remember what the black guy learned... probably something important and deep :P

I liked it alot, just because of the stuff that they could get away with under disguise.

I don't like Bruno though.

HOLY CRAP I LIKE REALITY TV.

I have no interest in watching this, but I think I will dig out my copy of Blazing Saddles. Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor humor at its best.
