How is GR, btw?  Haven't heard anything about it.

It's good. I'm glad it takes a min of 2 days real time to cross over. Otherwise it would make it so trivial.

Praetoria, the new zone is rather cool.
It's kind of like a bizarro world for CoH.

Like I said, do the 7 day free trial. You get access to all 3 games (CoH/CoV/GR)

Well yeah, I used that up a long time ago.  Have they reset with the new game, or would I have to make a second account to do it?

A second account.

Just use a different email address.

No clayface, no they are not.  They're basically mods of each other, MMOs that all use the same engine and core principles but can easily be played  by themselves.

but, don't they connect to the same online server / can't people in CoH pvp against people in CoV,
I would classify that as the same game, just different parts of one game, it's a marketing ploy to label is ohtherwise, they are just after your money

CoV and CoH are stand-alone expansion packs of each other.
Or, since CoH was made first, CoV is a stand-alone expansion pack of CoH.

But you do need either CoH or CoV for 'Going Rogue', right?

They merged CoH and CoV when Paragon Studios took over from Cryptic. That means you get CoV when you buy CoH or vice versa. Going Rogue on the other hand...

CoH is now F2P

if you owned the game you get a premium account (still not as good as VIP but hey, take what you can get)
