Interspecies slavery. I'm for it. It would be cool to have the splodeys and the hoptarts working for you, like draft animals. You could also abduct sentient creatures and have them research things for your own race. What do you guys think? What is the potential of slavery? Will it be in the game?

Absolutely :)  That sort of thing is a must 8)  Even if a player doesn't use it, there will bound to be people who would want it.

I'm all with you, slavery would be very cool and I hope its gonna be in the game to some extent.

Really?  I mean slavery would be intresting to see and all, but with everything thats happened in earths past I would think it would be sore subject to put in.  Then again maybe not, who knows.

Isn't this a monthly topic rotation topic  ;).
But yes agreed slavery would be a brilliant aspect to add into the game party for the moral dilema it would throw at people to see their beutiful creations all of a sudden enslaving and using eachother would be a bit of a mind trip.

Also, if pit fighting is added, enslave creatures and make them be gladiators.

Didnt WW say that if you captured an alien colony then those creatures would become part of your empire and live in that city. Then you can just edit all the buildings to look like evil slave buildings and the illusion is complete.

They may look like slaves, but I want wageless workers who are completely under my discression. Unless there are revolts, slave revolts would be so cool.

Good point. A slave would have quotas and would have to work twice as hard, so increased productivity for more profit (because of the free labor, they might work that in somehow) would the the advantages of slaves. Disadvantages: You have to lose some population to get the slaves, they can revolt and take over your colony.

make enemies with the slave keepers and friends with the slaves.

How do you mean, do you mean tribes of the same species, or being enslaved by another species, the latter being far less likely, and not by another player.
i mean would you enslave a creature you've made and watched grow of the same species in the tribal or city part of the game. I'd have no quarms with enslaving other species but your own creature **shrugs** i'd just have some problems with it.
