« on: February 21, 2006, 01:53:48 am »
Came across this little site. This guy makes his own PC games, and he made a clone of GeometryWars, his version is called GridWars.
I havent played the xbox360 version, so Im not sure on just how similar it is, but I've been playing this game almost all night, its fricken awesome!!

download it from here: http://www.incitti.com/Blitz/

Just saw this on a co-workers screen!  I really wanted to try geometry wars, but don't have a 360.  And definitely not gonna buy one jsut for that game.  Thanks for pointing this out!

Awesome.  One question though, is it that hard on the 360?

That game is so funny, I have played a long time, but I have to do some schoolwork right now so I can't.

if your finding it a bit hard you can always change the difficulty setting to easy...

Not impossible, but it probably isn't as funny (I haven't tried it with a controller).

I've been playing with my mouse, but I bet it would be easier with a joystick/gamepad thing.

It's harder on the 360, you don't get all these facy guns helping you out there.

i watched a video of gemetry wars on the 360, and it looks as if the blackholes are easier to destroy on the 360, is this true?

well you get three different guns: the starter one which takes a long time to destroy blackholes, the second gun which spreads a lot more than any of the other two, and the last gun that you can only have for a certain amount of time and then you go back to the second gun until you get a lot of points in a certain amount of time.  the last gun can kill blackholes really easy but it doesnt spread and is hard to kill the huge amounts of shapes that are on the screen.  also if you buy the full version on the 360, you can play the PC version.  PC version is a lot easier

Wow, this game is amazing! I can see now what everyone was raving about when the 360 came out. While Im sure its easier to use with 2 analog sticks, tthis still works great. When I get a 360, this'll be the first arcade game I get!
