DS Games?

So you have the DS ... what are you playing on it right now? Anything keeping hold of your interest or are you just playing good old GameBoy games on it?

Well.. The DS games currently out that I wanted only lasted a total of about 2-2 and 1/2 weeks. So I have mostly been playing old GBA games

Yeah, after you get used to a series, the latter games in the series seem easier.

I'm holding out for SSB:DS. Holding out for a long time probably, but holding out nonetheless.

I'm still playing Asphalt Urban GT, for some reason. I don't play it constantly, so maybe that's why it's been able to hold my interest.

Right now I am just playing old GBA games, they are great when you can actually see them!  I am going to pick up Animal Crossing as well as Metroid Prime: Hunter for sure.  But I have plenty of GBA games to keep me happy for now.

I'm currently playing through The Minish Cap ( I'm amazed at how well it looks on the DS ), but I'm waiting for AnimalCrossing and Metriod.  Debating on picking up Mario64, though.

I never had an advance *waits for shocked gasps to stop* so I've only got DS games for it. Right now I have the hunters demo, Mario 64 and Wario Ware. I am however in a seemingly eternal state of waiting for harvest moon and advance wars.

Thanks Seve :D
I'm going to get a DS next week.
I'll get Zelda or some other good GBA rpg/action-adventure and Wario Ware Touched I think....

btw.
I really LOVE Electroplankton, has anyone played it ? And do you know if it is going to be released in the US and Europe ?

Wario Ware Touched is a good choice, I've had alot of fun with that game.

As far as I know nothing has been said about Electroplankton being released in the US or Europe and to be honest I doubt that it will be, it just seems like the kind of game that wont make it in our market (awesome as it is).

Wario Ware is fun, but does not have much replay value.

I just picked up METEOS and reccommend it.  Its unique in graphics, gameplay.  I really like boosting big blocks and hitting the secondary combos to fire second stages on the launches.  Very addictive.

ONE Game has come to my attention -- check out NANOSTRAY.  Made by the makers of Iridiium, this looks to be a SUPER-awesome 3d shooter.  My mouth dropped at the videos -- 3d play over 3d scrolling/rotating backgrounds? ON a DS?  I saw maybe 6 weapon types, and it appears to be in-game switchable.  Even had some cut scenes interlaced in game play if the videos are any indication.  I've already got this one on reserve.

They have both been announced for quite some time I think.

I kinda like B&W:Creatures IGN Link, esp. because it seems to concentrate on the creatures ;) I like that and the graphics look pretty nice....we'll see....

Age of Empires: The Age of Kings IGN Link is a turnbased stategy game....sounds a bit like Civ for me ;) I hate AoE...probably because I am sooooo bad at this game and have been defeated too many times....sooo....I'm not too excited about it, but if it is a bit like Civ...... ;D

Yeah I ended up going to IGN looking for stuff on those games Black and white seems interesting I'm not sure about the turn based on AoE although I never played the origional or anything I never got into PC gaming much. Still something to keep an eye on and keep me busy until Spore comes out (one of the few PC games i'm looking forward to coming out even if I can get it for xbox I'll probably prefer PC.)

Making it turn based disappointed me, as the ds really needs a good rts. It's the first and maybe the last hand held consol that could do it, and that alone would make it worth the money. Although the rumors of starcraft ds and diablo ds from blizzard are intriguing. As for games, I don't currently own one, I'm waiting for a price drop/ good game to come out. I might pick one up sunday, and get meteos and kirby.
