I read no. 2 (Blue Mars?), and I'm afraid I thought it was desperately dull. I guess a ton of research doesn't help me, I'll gobble up anything remotely possible, I don't need hyperrealism. :P

did u read the first 2 books before reading blue mars, because that would have filled u in on things..lol

Well, I didn't, but the writing was so incedibly dry anyway. I liked the concept but the book was too dull.
