Must have brains.... er i mean Spore *cracks opens peoples skulls looking for Spore*

These are good too. They are the sides from Will's presentation that we did not get to see in the video.

http://thesims.ea.com/us/will/

I have looked at all four files from that website, but none of the presentations seem to have anything to do with Will's Spore presentation. Which file should I be looking at?

GDC2003.zip - 13.7 Mb I think.

Yup, those are the wrong presentations. It say "2003" On them. The presentations we're after are from GDC2005. I think VFXwatch just waited for an opportunity to post those images. ;)

As far as I know, those haven't leaked out... or?

It's true that those slide shows are not from Will's Spore presentation.

Dr Dozzy - You had it and deleted it?  OMG!  Where did you get it from in the first place?

I think if you watch the video you can play the slides he showed as he showed them. not sure though.
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

dont be a jerk about the search thing, if you would have taken the time to read the topics one would have found in a search you would realize that none of them have the spore gdc slides, only other non related slides.

He does reuse his slides and speech material a lot.  IIRC, the AIIDE one was from an AI conference, though, not the GDC.

I'm still wishing for video/downloads of the demos he used in his 2003 presentation...don't think those ever made it to the internet.  There is a video of the presentation, it just didn't show the demos  :'(

Oh hey, I just stumbled upon this out in the vastness of the internet:
Quote
Will Wright also gives terrific Powerpoint - from what I understand he carries around a deck of 200+ slides; depending on the venue, he'll pull out twenty or thirty. And they're great - calculous, weather patterns, life of bees, dramaturgical history, computer interface design - equations made up of graphics.
