He said specifically that there wouldn't be vehicles in civ
Oh, so all the little vehicles rolling around the planets when he zoomed out to civ view were just a glitch? ::)
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Hmm maybe armadas? :P Sorry just pointing out that people should search before making a topic. Cause this one has been around forever and should ahve been used rather than making a new topic on armadas.

I hope that there will be more spaceships than just the UFO. You should be able to design your own spacestation just like land buildings, with other tools though,

i think you'll only get one UFO.
the universe/galaxy/solarsystem looks alot like a normal directory browsing system. universe is the root, galaxy directory and solarsystem the subdrectory. the planets are the files which you can do stuff with. as Will noted, the game goes from storyline gaming to sandbox mode. i think that means that every planet is a new sandbox you can do stuff with.

i think that if there were any interstellar things within the game, Will would have showed it in the spore demo of GDC 2005

Pretty sure I remember him saying that interstellar ships were still up in the air.  This will hopefully be answered, one way or another, at E3.

When the demo comes out..... <crosses fingers>

They would be in air too.  I hope they work in vacuum though.

Maybe Fleets of Different Spaceships, and the UFO is the main one you would upgrade.
That is what I think. Build ONE UFO then many other space warships that just have simple lasers etc.
