My new creature the Still'wak
« on: February 02, 2006, 08:20:25 am »
This is my new creature 8)
but as Im not much of a writer you won't get that much text, but i like to draw :)
but im lazy to so I will use the same models of the creature most of the time
btw all this is made on the computer as I have no scanner or digital camera :P
but i did draw on paper so i knew what my creature would look like, and then I tried to draw it on the computer

INFO

The Still'wak

-The Still'wak is a hebravore (sp?) :P
-Their skin is like cows hide
-You can see their colour
-The Still'wak is not very aggresive and don't they dont start battles
-Someone want feet? :P I didnt have room for the feet but it contains 2 longer toes 2 smaller toes (I'll give you more on that)
-The hands contains 4 finger, sorry its hard to see one of the fingers its like 2 thumbs and 2 longer fingers
Male

-The Male which you can see on the first picture is the thin and weaker gender of Still'waks but the males are much faster than the female
-The males can grow to like 3.90-4.10m and can run up to 80km/h

Female

-The Female which you can see in the second picture is the thick and stronger gender of Still'waks but are much slower than the male
-The females gets to 3.60-3.80m and can run up to 50km/h
-The female lays 1-3 eggs 330-370 days after sex, 1 year is 296 days as the planet is closer to the sun than earth is.

Solarsystem
(LoL I said galaxy before, I am a bit tired :P)

this is the solarsystem :P
the planets got names but they get their names much later in history :P
but the planet closest to the sun (the orange one to the right) is the Still'waks home planet and the blue thing is their moon :)

Architecture

-The first picture is the first way to build a house, they dont use roofs for 2 reasons, it don't rain very much its a dry climate and they have it hard to build roofs right now, as   the brain evolves they will learn to build roof
-They also have spears to keep bigger animals away
-Oh the Still'wak always build near a tree because the eggs needs protection from the sun
-They have also learned to make fire
-The second picture is one step further in the technology :P now they have ultimate protection against egg thieves with a stone wall

---------------------------
I will update this from times to times... much easier to read and see this way :)

Nice drawings for the computer! I couldn't draw that well even on paper.

Well done!

looks really cool. although the tails probably should be longer to counterbalance the head and neck which look pretty heavy. I know you did say to comment and I'm nitpicking a little, but its a fact of biology.

Its an alien, its tail could be full of lead. Sure, its a fact of EARTH biology...
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

oh btw as I was in a hurry when i post this.

the tail, the two tails is old legs that didnt grow out because the creature didnt need them, like these teeth we got back in our mouth (or atleast you adults) in the mouth
and we also got a organ that we dont need "blind gut" :P

but i maybe will make the tail longer on the male

Cool creature!
Looks like a nice three fingered beast.
Can you give us some ideas on what the feet are like?
Like flat footed or maybe some chicken type feet or what? 8)

This is cool. I could really see these and the Baobas's being terrible enemies.

*thinks about Alien Giraffes and Alien Babboons fighting*
