Every year they pretty much try to top last years biggest explosion. In a couple of seasons they will be experimenting with atomic blasts.
Myth: Is it really that easy to make a "homemade nuke?"  Next on Mythbusters!

Yeah, apparently you just need peanut butter and a microwave  ::)

(seriously, how dumb was that?)

I was watching this "YouTube Special" when I realized something.
This (YouTube and the Internet in general) is our culture. Our generations defining aspect.
Before you had Rock n' Roll, you had the civil rights movement, you had the Great Depression, you had the World Wars, you had the Anti-war movements. Today we have technology, and it's changing us faster than those in the midst of it can know.

This is what will go down in history books, people. Just 10 years ago, what was the Internet? Certainly not something everyone used the way they did today. This is increasing exponentially, and it's terribly interesting (and maybe a little scary) to watch my 8-year old step-brother grow up with things like YouTube in his life. Things that I didn't use at all until my early teens.

It's who we are, and it's what the future will be. Which, I am increasingly convinced, will either lead to Utopia or Apocalypse.
Yeah, [Kishmond] came back from Africa, but the ponies have him now.

Probably the later.  But at least there will be explosions, and explosions equal ratings.
Probably not a Goat, either.

We need to get rid of Fred before he destroys our generation's intelligence.
The best person ever.  She should have won the Peace Prize.

What? No full control over children? You do realize that some of us have particular plans for those children.

What does that have to do with Mythbusters?

Wait... he was actually on Mythbusters? How? Tell me I'm wrong!

Next time on Mythbusters!

SEND THAT SUGGESTION IN NOW

also, if anyone wants to (since I'm lazy), someone should send in the 'myth' of zombies eating brains...maybe the answer is really obvious to everyone else, but I'm just curious to know whether or not the jaw is strong enough to bite through the skull...

Can you really turn Jupiter into a sun like they did in the book "2010: Odyssey Two"?

I loved this show but stopped watching it a few years ago. Is it still good, worth looking at again or has it gone downhill over time like the very channel that it is on?

After this many seasons they have to play a bit loose with the whole "myth" thing, but the show is still very entertaining.

Anyone see the thermite episode last week? It reminded me of of when i was in high school with the science club. Thermite was our favorite chemical. We would blow up everything from watermelons to dry ice. Also non-dairy creamer was great to burn in powdered form. In short the science club is really a nice way to say the "pyro club". :P

However i enjoyed the powers of pressurized water. I made a huge sparkles water bottle into a bottle rocket. It flew so high it went way way WAY over our 3 story buildings and out onto the soccer field (which was at least 5 buildings away or more) . Luckily no one was there and it totally broke the bottle upon impact. But what would expect from a "hydromancer"?  :P

Yeah increase the mass by like the double i and i think the planet will start to gain enough heat and pressure to start fusion. But it was a long time since i last researched it. But it is simply a question of mass >_>
