Not your typical release thread... (2)
« on: January 29, 2006, 11:10:05 am »
I recently ran a poll, asking what month people thought Spore would be released.  The poll's results are here: http://www.gamingsteve.com/blab/index.php?topic=2133.0

The month of October won!  So in this poll you get to vote for which week in October you think Spore might be released.

Will this eventually end up at "October 9th, 2:32PM"?

This is getting a little too ... umm specific considering that we have no clue yet.  Whats the point in guessing a week when we don't even know for sure if it will be this year let alone Q3 or Q4 despite what WW said.

The OP had a poll a while back where he wanted people to vote on when the game would be released.  He is saying that Oct. got the most votes.

It's just a time waster, really.

But that's all this forum is for, wasting eachother's time untill Spore arrives, so it's okay. :D

Wait, What 85 topics were deleted in the last 2 hours? (oh and I voted 8th to 14th)
What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

Now, they were deleted over the course of the forums existence. Once a topic is deleted, the number it used to have will no longer exist, so the next one will still be one higher, but the total post count will lower by one. It works the same way with users.

For those who think this thread it pointless:

Technically this whole forum is pointless, all we do is talk about stuff we don't really have any idea about.  This poll is just for fun so that the community can guess at when Spore might be released.  If you think it might be fun to guess, then vote.  If you don't, then don't.

Each to his own (or her own, as the case may be).

I would think late October, right at the start of the retail gaming season.

I guessed October 19th cuz that's my birthday. The last game I looked forward to (San Andreas) came out right by my birthday I believe. I think it's interesting to see what everybody thinks will be the date. Pointless ENTERTAINMENT. Nothing wrong with that. Props on the polls man.
