if you put around it will display it in the post.

Good looking creature. I am guessing this is when it is primitive? looks like it moves like an ape, with its knuckles on the ground.

Because of Hydro's Naucean, and Hugg's Kazea, i have been inspire to create my own creature. The Teshlin towers at 12 feet, It is an omnivor. It lives on a planet wich houses hundreds, maybe thousands of tiny tropical islands. Because of the high heat and the humidity, to cool off it pants with its two toungs like a dog. Their culture is not unlike the polynesians, and like the polynesians they are on the constant search for new islands to colonize. The weapon it holds in its hand is a wood club/sword witch is lined with sharks teeth.

Any coments or sugestions wiil help me further devlope my creature, and boost my ego ;D

Pergaps would be a good time to teach you about the "modify" button. Click this to add/change a post you've already made. That way you don't post over and over right after yourself. Happy posting :)

Edit: It's in the upper right hand corner of all your posts.

No problem! :)

I like the way you did the tail, by the way, similar to the Willosaur, yet tastefully different.

I can't help notice the similaries with the eyes and nostrils as well as the color. No offense to you but perhaps you should try a creature a bit diffrent from not only mine but what others have made so far. In short there are unlimited possiblites, why use mine.

I'm sorry Hydro I couldn't help myself. It's not like i'm trying to steal ideas, but that face configuration just worked so well. But I'm realy sorry if i've ofended you.
This is a map of the Teshlin Home world. It is made up of one large continent and hundreds of islands to the east. The Islands are were the Polynesian like culture is based, but the western continent is more of a turkish influence and has a dry arid climate but a fertil easter coast. In the Galactic age there are three main cities.

Reet,The center of the desert culture. It is located in the mountan chain and is next to a canal carved from the river fed by a mountain top lake. It would be considered the most technologicly advanced.

Shar, The center of the island culture. It has been at almost constant war with the adjacent large island for dominance of the island empire. Even though the Reet are far more advanced in metalurgy and science, The Isanders have a very advanced knowledge about astronamy.

Karlt, A costal city witch is a mesh of both the Desert and Island cultures, and eventualy becomes the capital of the Planet.

After the Island nation finaly united, they headed east to colonize the continent. The Reet's fought back and tried to conque the Islanders with a navy. But since the Islanders were far more experienced with ocean warfaire they managed to drive them back. Ever since they have been in a kind of stail mate for dominence. After the discovery of other civilizations on other planets, they have united in an atempt to hold their own in intergalactic politcis. They centered in a costal town witch has both Reet and Islander influence.

Well i am still not sure how they are related.

Also am not so offened as in disapointed sicne your creature looks like a mixture of my Naucean and the tail of the Willosaurus.

However i do have some sudgestions. On how to have your creature so it has its own unique features. For instance why copy my 4 eyes when you could have nostirls in their place and replace your nostrils with eyes! Poof! its a complty diffrent creature now. Or if you don't want it looking so much the same make the colors diffrent rather than blue make it have soem exotic pattern or something.

There are just tons of things that can be done. Just use your imagination.  ;)

Here is what i came up with just by adding and moving things around. You can hardly tell its based on the Naucean. But cans still tell its off your creature.

I like the tounges, and the planet configuration. I really can't see how the Teshlin and the Nauceans could be connected though, other than by forced relocation(Is that what you had in mind?) And I have to ask, what's that on his arm?

Here's the picture of a Desert culture Teshlin. From now on all Teshlins will look more like this. The tail is now a padle which it uses to shovel dirt, which is used to make their houses which are half under the ground. And the chain it holds in it's hand is a religious symbol for the Desert cultures God.

I guess this dousn't really aply know, but the reason why the Teshlin (Classic) looked like a Naucean was that the Teshlin home world was a zoo planet teraformed by an advanced alien race. And amoung the creatures that were put on the planet were the primitive versions of the Nautian, which evolved into sentience.

Well i cannot speak for others but mine in specific have these becuse they were sepearted for longer than humans. For instance the size of jungle tribe are modeled after Earth's African pygmys who were small but not as small as you think. But i thought abrobial life (living in the trees) would make them smaller. As for the desert tribe the crest is to a adpat to the hot climate to help to cool off. Since they branched off the ocean tribe so early they adpated the most. Cause every time you split off a population evolution still continues. With Earth we did not really seperate for too long. While the Nauceans have and did not develp their civiilzation very fast, thus allowing for the outter appearance changes.

Sorry that it's been a while, my schedual's been swamped lately.
Well here's my latest instalment of the teshlin race.

This is a Teshlin islander training for the upcoming canoe race. The creature thats pulling it is known as a Mauwt. It is the desedent of ducks that were brought to the Teshlin home world by the alien race who teraformed the planet. The Mauwt have adapted to life in the open seas and have given up flight. The hind legs have changed into flipers witch it uses to propel itself through the water. I'ts tail is used mainly for stearing, and the front wings have diminished. They are very social creatures witch live in pods much like whales. The Teshlin domesticated the Mauwt and use them to pull their canoe's, Warships, and massive trading hulks. Although Teshlins utalize sails, they prefer using their more rekiable Mauwts. There are also wild Mauwts Witch the Teshlin beleive are the sons and duaghters of their ocean God.

Thanks Mason ;D

This is A Teshlin Home stead on the Continent. The continent is dived into four bioms, The fertile east coast witch is hilly and lush. The center of the continent is mountinous. The north weastern corner is desert. Although that region is very dry, plants and animals thrive there because of underground springs. And in the south weatern corner of the continent is the savanna like area witch is shown on the picture. The large tree in the midle grows all over the continent and have been known to grow much taller. The trees have adapted to sprout above underground springs. This is why whole comunities are built around these trees, especialy in the drier areas of the savanha and desert.

This is a Teshlin continental trader. He's bringing his goods to sell at a small east coast village. Trade has become an esential part of both the continental and islander nations way of life., especially in the modern age.

Man, it's been a long time since i updated this.

This is a Desert culture Monk releasing a sacred flow bird from a mountain top abbey. Thecustom of releasing these birds to the north-west is unique to "Truth" which is the main relegion of the continent. Religion is very important in teshlin culture and has been the cause of many wars. There are four major religions on the planet.

Truth: Is the religion of the mountain culture, It is a form of monotheism that worships a warlike sun God. This war like atitude has led the mountain culture to conqure and unite the entire continent. It is called "Truth" because they believe that their belifes are the only acceptable ones, and any others should be shuned or wiped out.

Warthen: It is the religion of the temperate costal culture. It is a branch of the Truth but is much more peace loving. And instead of a wrlike sky god, they worship Warth the earth goddess. Even though they are related to the Truth, the worshipers of the Truth are shune all thos who are Warthen.

Techlen: It is the religion of the desert civilization, and is also the oldest of all the religions. It is the worship of ansestors. A comin practice among the Techlin is to atempt to cantact their ancestors for spiritual advice, and prayers of war. A halusanegetic drug is often used in the process.

Spirit Worship: It is the religion of the Islanders and is a modification of the Techlen religion. They call upon the spirits of elements and animals for guidance. They also believe in a form of reincarnation, their body of rebirth is determined by which spirit they worshiped.

in the galactic stage the two main religions are the "Truth" and the Spirit worshiped. Although the other two are dominated by h "Truth", Techlen, and warthen still thrive, and are a part of the colrctive culture.

God i hope the Teshlins make it into Hydros galactic prison.

In the Galactic age, the Teshlin have held on to their islander roots of colonization. Because of this their culture has become even more varied. And a whole new class of Teshlin has arisen, The space cowboys. They explore the galaxy for habitable and profitable planets, and take any jobs they are offered. This is one riding a newly discovered Sloth/Bear. The sloth/bear has no sense of hearing, or smell, it has eyes but it is practicaly blind. It's major sense is taste. It trakes game and ore deposites easily by tasting the air it breathes in. It has no toung, so its mouth is lined with hundreds of taste buds.

P.S. Hydro please put one of these Teshlin trouble makers into the Galactic prison. :-[ Please!

Of vgcats or Dr. Hobo?
There is a method to my madness. That method is in and of itself quite mad, but it is method nonetheless.

These little guys are called the furbs. They are two inches tall and known to be one of the greatset civilizations in the galaxy. They are the one's who teraformed the Teshlin home planet and brought all the animals to it. They had a rich and productive culture that spanned 8,00000 years. But one fatefull day, a band of Teshlin cowboys found the Furb home world. When they landed they saw only wilderness, termite mound like structures, and the little Furbs that lived in them. Not knowing the Furbs importance and role they played in the teshlin evolution, the Teshlin captured all the Furbs and sold them to various colonies. The great Furb empire was reduced to a race of pets that are often trained to fight one another to the death. This sport is only realy popular with adolesnt Teshlin. And Teshlin who are very drunk.

I think you mean 800,000 years because you had too many 0's after the comma.

sounds like the furbs had degenerated back into primitivity when the Teshlin discovered the Furb homeworld.

and how do they move? bounce? because they don't have legs.

I just kind of wanted a big number for their culture, because they had to be around long enough for the Teshlin to evolve Sentience. And that is just kind of their architecture, they believed in holding on to their primitive roots. They were a non violent race which is why they didn't have a space fleet to combat the Teshlin. But after pretty much being brain washed by their owners, Furbs didn't hesitate to fight each other to the death if their master told them to. and they move by rolling and guiding it with their free arm, which is kind of why it's fun to watch them move around and fight.

I thought you said the Naucean made them...
