I wish that I had more nightmares. I thoroughly enjoy having a horror-themed dream.

Done.

I had a very weird dream. I was with my parents, shopping for furniture, but the store had a public computer. I realized that this computer had Spore on it! So, I played on the Creature Editor, and was told to build a bunny. But, the creature editor was me putting cardboard bags, weird accordian tubing, and big legos to make the bunny in real life. My bunny looked like R2-D2.

Dude that has to be the worst "bad nightmare!"
I have disagreed with Steve a lot of times. (Tetris? Come on. I would think frogger or maybe pac-man,but tetris)

Now here is a really [wink, wink] scary nightmare
I got a Gizmondo
And I liked it.

yeah danddman, my nightmare would be if everyone was "oh, we can't offend steve, got to agree with what he says before he bans us!"  i've been on forums like that and it's not fun.  plus it kills the discussion and drives away the more independent forum members.
I have been told
not by one but two of my lovers
that I've got a heart of gold
but I'm unable to share it with others
They call me a poet who'll never have a poem
a tiger with no taste for bone
I'm the wonderful wonderful wizard who's waltzing alone

I am not like that, but my paranoia wont let my mind rest easy. I see an insult in almost every statement I read, it is like Dyslexia, I have to calm myself down, and "unconvince" myself that the poster hates my guts. If you could see my first posts in the first forum I ever joined, you would laugh at how constantly defensive I am, in fact, this post is a result of some of my paranoia, because I think you are insulting my intelligence, my mental faculties, and you are calling me a follower. When you are only commenting on how a forum can go bad.

BTW, I said I dreamed of flaming Steve, not politely disagreeing, or stating an opposing opinion. I mean stuff like 'OMFG, you {censored} n00b, how can you even read your own posts?" or  posting a link that doesn't lead to the sight it says it does: http://www.gamingsteve.com/ or anything else that is outright disrespectful. It lies at the root of my paranoia disorder, an almost phobic fear of offending people I admire. I admire all very experienced people in the Game industry (describing Steve perfectly). So when my online persona gets marred for whatever reason, a part of me takes it very hard (I always think of it as my inner child, because when I was younger I always tried to be everyones best friend.) Of course, the more mature aspects of my personality will shine through (90% of the time) and now I don't take anything personally, though my mind will still read things that aren't really there, that can only be conveyed through actual physical gestures, articulations, and other forms of body language. The potential for misunderstanding in a forum is incredible.

Having taken years of psychology (educational courses, mind you. I have never been hospitalized for anything related to my mind) I came to realize my faults and was able to overcome the mild form of schizophrenia that I was afflicted with, and overcome it. Jeer me if you want (there it goes again) that I regress when under strain or extremely tired, but everyone has a weakness, though few admit it.

I could just delete what I have in my original post, but that would make me feel like I am ashamed of myself, when I feel that this is my greatest accomplishment.

No offense intended  :D

if you were afraid to offend steve, i would think it was his fault.  the ban on swearing is lame and needless, but tolerable.  if steve wants to be really dictatorial (no offense steve, but the forum seems to be going there in some ways) then we don't have to tolerate that.

just curious, but did you ACTUALLY post those things on a message board, and then say you dreampt it, like you were saying your "friend" had done something? ::)

I only get dreams when either they make NO sense in any shape or form, or.... when they are only 3 seconds long, I forgot them instanly when I wake up, and I see the same event from the exact same angle, with the exact same sounds. Call it deja-fu dreams.
-----

Common sense makes no sense as it is not commonly used!
( And thanks Alex for the sig!)

I dunno about Deja-fu, but I get deja-vu all the freaking time.

No, it was a real dream, but it wasnt a dream of just words and posting graphics, we were standing around in a big open room with pillars and such. The person I was berating really only had a name tag that said  The Gaming Man, with a the gaming steve face from the logo, hence me not knowing wh he was. In my dream, I plunge the flaming sword of my avatar into the face.

I extrapolated the feeling too form the above interpretation of my dream. If you want me to be more detailed, when I was around sixteen and a brat I used my current avatar graffic whenever I was posting something very immature or insulting. It became a trade mark of mine to do that, My handle for those forums was D3f!l3R, and a frequent saying of mine was "Sk3w3r3d" or
"D3f!l3d". Fortunately, Events conspired to make me grow way beyond such nonsense. That is where I had the "sk3w3ring" of Steve  in the dream.

Later, the dream went on to me going to a different place, with Steve face with a gaping wound that had been healed over. But when all the logo faces see me, the wound reopen and fire come out of it at me.

This comes from the fact that, even after I have left the forums, when I use the avatar in other forums, I will get a pm of "Were you ever a part of such and such forum" which I reply "Yes" and then I'll get a long pm saying how I had hurt their feelings really badly, or that a child saw some of the things I posted, or some other story of how I caused damage to others. I would then send an email apologizing, truly and frankly.

After I was consumed by fire, I awoke and was not fully awake when I made the above post. By "not fully awake" I mean that I still felt like I was dreaming, even though I was concious. I thought I had dreamed making this post, when in fact, I really did. Strange as it may sound, it is the truth.

The Gaming Man represents the Master of Dreams, Morpheus.  using egyptian standards, the god Thoth.  the sword represents your will.  the fire shows that you are a "flamer", and yet you keep it around despite your regret of your k3W|_er days, thus it must have deeper significance.  you struck gaming steve in anger.  this catharsis was necessary to release your personal flame, which morpheus-as-steve reflected back at you.. the flame represents the truth.
