nope UFO is player designed apparently. looka gain in the video there are 3 different types pre made there

looking at the "pie planet" in the middle, I wonder if those are actual planet surfaces from the game.  If so, that's pretty damn varied.

I love it the black and white color scheme. I wonder if that is representative of the in game interface?

I don't know about the interface, but I kind of expect their marketing to take the very iconic, black+white style.  Since the game is all about customizability, it sorta makes sense to go as abstract as possible.

It looks like only four or five of them are planets (depending on how you define the barren one). The other three appear to be a cell, a star, and a galaxy. Talk about powers of 10. You get powers of 100 (or a lot more) with those three slices.

That swirly planet on the bottom looks really cool. I can actually describe it as whimsical, yet refined. If that isn't variety, nothing is.

...and Hydro, did you realize, that by blacking out the text in the bubble, you very nearly made the Maxis logo?

I love the bottom right world with the swirls.  Looks player made.  God can't wait for this.

we don't know that for sure, it could all be artwork as for the green oceans, although the advanced surface features is a possible one.

On the right side, the planet with the city looks smaller. We couldn't see the other city from the home City in the video.
