Hutchinson showed me the full game of “Spore,” running in a laptop that is carried in a bag that has brought the game around the world, hence the Indonesian loose change found in one of its pouches.
Maybe one day Spore was next to you and you didn't knew!  :o

Those articles, that one and the other you access through a link, are really cool.

Read the article, does this mean that giant vertical sticks would pretty much always be predators?  :P

If you're big and a carnivore then probably yes, if you're big but an herbivore why would you eat meat? :P

What I understood was that smaller creatures are at the bottom of the food chain, while bigger ones are at the top. Obviously herbivores won't eat meat, instead they'll be like elephants or whales, where even the most deadly carnivores have to team up to kill one.

Enter the brachiosaurus, deadly, fat, and rather tasty when served with chips.

I like the purple thing on that cover.

Is that the Creature Creator cover?

They seem to be bipeds the lot of them. A bit sad if that's the cover they'll settle for, showing more or less only humanoids for an edior that is so versatile :/

Overall a lot of quadrupeds Ive seen werent precisely the best creatures in the game. Mostly because of the leg configuration issues. Muscles dont exactly mesh smoothly. Take for instance the moose we saw recently. While it looks good, it still looks like the legs arent fully attached.
I imagine this will be remedied eventually with further development of the game :)
