Sorry Guys, i was out of town

E Wins - Fire Hehheh

As the fleas were in illusion one of them stood up and took the fire. Just as the illusion caught everyone of the fleas the wave of energy that was coming from the fire now hit every single one of them. Their bodies started shaking and they became paralyzed for about 1 hour. As the fleas woke up the next morning they realized they had become different. They had way sharper scissors, their size increased by the double (they are human sized from height now), they grew spikes all arround their body, they grew a fourth underlimb on the lower scissor and they had a mutual understanding of manipulation now. Soon they hit rocks to sharpen them, and they ythrew these rocks at their prey. However the strange sounds still came from the lower sea, which they never visited again since day X (monolith day).

Soon they were colonizing the different beaches arround the big pond. The area was sourrounded by Rocks, Trees, and other new animals.
A: Become Sentience
B: Develop Language
C: Use rocks
D: Use wood
E: Study, and Hunt new animals

There are a few votes and no one has really said anything I went with hunting no real reason behind it i just figured everyone else would have gone sentient and I wanted something different just to be different.

It seems to me like theyre already sentient. They have communication and they can use tools, what more do you need. None of the other threads actually had a point where one of the options was 'become sentient' it just kind of happens...

A Wins
Creature Update:
Limbs: 6 Legs {jumping and running}, 4 Arms {2 with pure fighting scissors, 2 with manipulators, scissors that are similar to hands}, 2 Wings {allow slow flying and advanced jumping}
Special Traits: Colour based communication, spiky main body, chitinous armor, heightened hearing, normal seeing sense but good colour distinction
Diet: Omnivorous, but mainly Meat
Hunt or Foraging: 75% Hunting 25% Foraging
Other specials: Aggressive, Shiny rock loving, and partly nomadic, Colour Shifting {for camouflage and communication}
Buildings of Importance: None so far
Tools: Sharpened Rocks
Cultural Achievements: None
Tribal Philosophy: Aristocracy, few fleas controll the tribe, these fleas have to own many shiny rocks

The Fleas were soon developing new technologies, they were building little wooden huts and they hunted indestinctively. The hunting went well for the little tribe of Fleas as they found many new species´, minor to their intelligence. The Gooms, yellow dog sized frogs, who were predators were usually left in peace as they were able to put a good fight. The Mundigos, green puffy girafflike animals with six legs, they looked bigger than they actually were due to their fur. Then there were Jimols, little lizards that were really tasty for the Fleas. The last race were Gippos, red slithering animals that were bigger than fleas but vegetarian. The fleas hunted what they could catch and usually just used the meat and they left the rest laying as they did not find a use for the rests yet. The Fleas usually threw sharpened rocks at their prey or they trapped them by hiding per camouflage. Sometimes the sky would rumble greatly and bright shards of lights would hit the ground, on rare occations they would even touch the trees and plants, and make them shine and warmer. This spell did not work on the sands or rocks however. Sometimes they found rocks different from the normal tools they had, those rocks were alot heavier and harder to break.

From now on we will follow our Little Tribe on the Pond, other fleas left the area to settle in other parts of the world.
A: Find use for the "bewitched trees" that shine and give warmth
B: Domesticate an animal
C: Develop farming
D: Create a better tool
E: Find a use for the animal carcasses
F: Build advanced houses

E Wins
After several years of constant hunting they saw that the animals were used to their routine of rock throwing or trapping, the animals became more crazed when seeing a flea as well. Therefore they saw they had to be more useful with their foodsource. It was Xylapsian the first, (The name is made up from a Red Colouration with green and blue spirals) the local Tribes leader, who had the idea of using the animals eyeballs as well as their bones and fur. Soonly you saw the fleas ripping out their prey's eyes and hearts to chew on them. Also the tribesmembers started to use the prey's bones. They created jewelery of their spine, the leg bones were generally used to make a grip for the sharp stones, and the other bones were sometimes used to enforce the wooden/straw huts. Their fur was always given to the tribes leader's who hanged it at their hut walls. The magical shards from the heavens destroyed many of their homes so they had to rebuild them often.

The tribe was hunting well, but soon they were infested by a strange plague. Little red bugs flew into their homes and on their backs. Biting through the flea's chitin they caused itching. Since the little plagues were there many of the fleas seemed to become tired quickly and being unable to communicate in a good mannor. The red bugs seemed to come from a swampland north of the Pond.

A: Try to avoid the huts from burning down
B: Try to stop the plague
C: Find a better use for the fur
D: Find a better use for the bones
E: Examine and Analyze the phenomena

P.S. I would LOVE for you guys to make a drawing of our little race, also we should get a name for our tribe. Any suggestions send them to me per post in this thread.

C Wins
The fleas saw that the bugs were a true plague to their little tribe therefore they started to think of ways to repel them. They tried to catch them, but that did not work because the bugs were quicker than the fleas. Then they thought of destroying the swamp but they did not figure out how to do that. It took years until Miryx the wiseflea developed a new technique: he used the furs he got from animals, "sewed them together" by spitting acid on them and then he wore them arround the affected areas. This gave them a cape like look that would later lead to a distinctive fashion. Arround their neck they wore the spinenecklaces.

The bugs were not as effective on the fleas anymore, but they were still existant. Also, the shards kept on destroying the huts of the flea population. Sooner or later they would have to find a cure for the bugs and the shards. The hunting went well for the population of fleas.

Culture Update!!!
Cultural Achievements: Simple Clothing, and Necklaces and other Jewelry made of bones
Building Style: Wooden Huts enforced with bones
Tools: Sharpened Rocks on a Bone
Tribal Philosophy: Aristocracy
Religion: None Existant
Hunting/Foraging: Just Hunting, so far

A: Pulexa
B: Nuk-Nuk
C: Oricath
D: Alkaln
E: Chitnits
