Corrupt a wish

This is a fun little game that was on another forum I visit

One poster makes a wish, the next poster then corrupts that wish and makes his own wish.
For example:

Poster 1:  I wish I knew the meaning of life
Poster 2:  Granted but it turns out to be so mind numbingly weird that you spend the rest of your life wondering how the hell it could possibly be the meaning of life.

Than poster two would make a wish and the process would repeat.  I'll start it off

I wish I could read peoples mind.

Granted but do to the nature of it being an Unidentified flying object you never Indentify it and therefore never know you have it.

Granted, work your but off all year round to make sub-par toys for ingrateful little brats. Must also find ways to bend laws of physics.

Wish granted, but because it was a mutant fish it ate your leg the minute it came back to life.

I wish I had a new graphics and my PC would work properly.
