I was kind of being sarcastic. But i like them anyway. The second one is actually kind of funny, at the end were the guy has one arm and one leg, and he hops around.

In no particular order

The Night of the Living Dead (keep the times in mind)
The Exorcist
The Poltergeist
The Blair Witch Project (you have to use your imagination)

Wow Cemetery Man - That was a great movie!

My picks - based on being scary, creepy or have just a great story/plot

Phantasm
Prince of Darkness
Dawn of the Dead (original 1978)
HellRaiser
Exorcist 3

Wow some great ones.. I didn't see Dead Alive on anyone's lists :(  Well okay it's more of a gorefest comedy..

I'll try to remember films that really scared me and left a lasting impression.

Excorcist 3 creeped me out for a long time.  Just that one hallway scene.  (shudders)
The Grudge creeped me out too
Poltergeist gave me nightmares  (I was 7 when I saw it)
The house on haunted hill was cheesy, but the way the ghosts moved and attacked really creeped me out.
From Beyond really scared me. (I was young and watched it in the basement at night)
Nightmare on Elm street 1 Really got to me, again I was young when I saw it.
