What are some of your guys' favorite movies of all time?

I have some: Titanic, Top Gun, Miracle, and Tommy Boy are a few of my favorites.

The Fifth Element and The Lord of the Rings series are the ones that come to mind first.

Yeah, I know, the ending sucked, but I remember the first time I saw it (I was in maybe 5th grade?) I just loved it, and really enjoyed the part when they first got contacted by aliens. I'm also really into astronomy,so I really enjoyed this movie. I dont like it so much anymore, but when I did see it, I thought it was great.

Edit: I guess since it used to be a favorite of mine, but not any longer, it shouldnt really belong here.

The Wizard of Oz, best movie ever made.

Seven Samurai, best action movie, period.

Sexy Beast, great British gangster film.

LOTR trilogy, cos sometimes everything just works out perfectly.

Unbreakable, M NIght Shayamalans homage to superhero comics.

Oh, and about a few dozen more that I can't think of right now.

Anyone see Frequency? I usually movies that deal with things like alternate reality, time travel, or stuff like that.
Though I can't see any time travel plot ever making sense when you think about it, I just forget all that and enjoy it.

I thought 40 Year Old Virgin was awesome. My friends and I got tons of laughs out of it.

Legend of the Drunken Master has some of the sweetest fights ever. I've seen that movie like ten times, and I want to see it again.
THAT is how you do a fighting movie. No flashy BS, longer space between cuts, and generally not edited to complete garbage.

The Incredibles was great, pretty much anything that comes out of Pixar is gold dust.
I have to agree about the Fifth Element, fantastic film.

Men in Black was pretty sweet.
Despite being a TV spin-off, so was Start trek: first contact
Sam is basically right, he's just cranky.

Dukes of Hazzard- People have said it sucked, but I loved the movie. It's got car jumps, moonshine, Daisy Dukes, and adventure abound!

Full Metal Jacket- Another great movie. You can't argue this one.

Hero - extended 2 disc Hong Kong edition.

Dark City - seriously messes with your mind, but it was overshadowed by the marketing muscle behind the Matrix.

Amelie - this cemented Audrey Tatou as one of my favorite actresses.

Lost in Translation - I've lost count how many times I've watched this.

The Motorcycle Diaries - BEAUTIFUL movie!  Wheather it's all that accurate is open to debate, but amazing nonetheless.

The Nightmare Before Christmas.  Excellent film, great music, great story.  It's like a claymation It's A Wonderful Life.  I just don't get why the merchandise suddenly got so popular so long after the movie came out...

I would like to second The Incredibles.  Best superhero movie ever.

Back to the Future.  Best trilogy ever.

Memento - Never seen a film like it.

And when I decided I should check out some real classics:
Casablanca and Citizen Kane.  I don't know if its something about black & white or what, but these movies just...I dunno, but I've never empathized that much with a character in any color movie.

Duck Soup - Oh my God! Comedy movies used to be funny!  Really any of the Marx Brothers' films.

Another comedy that I really love for some reason: Dracula: Dead and Loving It.
Use those talents you have. You will make it. You will give joy to the world. Take this tip from nature: The woods would be a very silent place if no birds sang except those who sang best.
