Corbyn has a dead man's switch. If anyone tries to oust him that isn't a proper bleeding heart socialist then bang goes the youth vote, apathetic urban minorities and pacifists, Labour reverse all the 'uge gains they've made in this election and the whole infighting cycle starts again. Even the most rabid anti-Corbyn with an ounce of intelligence knows this.
I think the smart move for labour now would be to try and stack the shadow cabinet with more professional looking lawyer types like Keir Starmer and Emily Thornberry to sway the kind of soft tory voters that don't like austerity or hard Brexit but won't vote for someone who looks scruffy.
