Pat, you care deeply about this community and the people in it and I do respect that and care about you in turn.

Krakow you are always a welcome presence and funny and good at jokes and also quite good overall.

Ink sometimes I think you are the only person here tethered to reality and I mean that in a good way.

Martyk is still the forum's bartender. That is an important job.

I have more things to say but we'll start here.

What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

eropS if you ever find the other half of the heart pendant we can join it together and solve the riddle of the missing gold.

Ultimatum, I am delievering an ultimatum. Recognize how neat you are. Or else.

Lurk, I am sorry for making a cartoon suggesting you stole the sandwiches that one time. You would never do that.

Pat is kindah cool. He is very Patsy. I find his stupid shenanigans kind of endearing. Pat is very passionate and we need passionate people.

KS is our moderator. He is teh coolness. He really seems like the guy who knows what's cool.

Slinky is our talented little teenager. His drawings are good and fun. And he has a big heart. That's good.

Ink is a good guy. He won't take part in crazy nonsense. Inky is very down to earth and empathic.

Gauph is laid back, funny and also talented.

Sgore made this thread, so I must mention him. The person who made this thread must be a good guy.

Yokto is nice and innocent and helpful. He is also a person who won't take part in nonsense. A very good guy.

Flisch doesn't come here anymore, but he is also nice and innocent. He is shy and sweet. It is cute.

Brandon is relatable, and has a nice emo vibe that I like.

I want to thank Slinky, Tesla, Inkling, and Didero collectively for being there to talk to me and help keep me sane and distracted.
I cannot imagine where my head would be without being able to open up to people in my life that actually kinda care about me.

Pat, I want to thank you for keeping the fire here kindled and always pushing us to be creative. Not only that, but your philosophies and politics keep me on my toes, and have helped me to rectify some mistaken beliefs that I'd picked up without critique.

Inkling, again, is the most grounded person I know. He's calm and rational and friendly. He puts up with me for hours on end, sharing music and rambling until Didero wakes up and Inkling can tag out. If you want a clear-headed take on something, he's your guy.

Slinky is a meme machine that is bigly tremendous in his ability to keep me smirking on facebook, and the nonsensical but topical banter is a laff.

LadyM, I miss you. Thank you for setting me straight and teaching me how to behave on the internet in a period of my life where friends were foreign.

Krakow has influenced me tremendously, too. In some argument, someone said I was his yes man, and in truth, I've grown to think much like he does.

Not only that, but he, /lurk, and Pat pulled me into the old RPs with their wonderful writing. (Note: It was /lurk's sense of humor that drew me in most, which Pat later found hilarious.) Never had I mashed the refresh button like that before, waiting for the arc to curve one tic along.

And I want to thank anyone reading this. I've moved more times than I can count... probably near 20. You guys are my oldest, best friends. Without you, not only would I be starting over in every other way, but I'd have nobody but FB friends I've not seen in half a decade.

I tell people I live on the internet. This is where.

I'm not relatable or emo, GD, we just both have depression!  ;D

Oh, and thank you Ovi, for being the best fictional cartographer this side of Middle Earth.

Gauph may bring the best one-liners and should have a successful graphic novel by now, but I also have a map fetish, and Ovi is my pornographer.

I'll echo Brandon's sentiment about this being a home. I've been visiting this website since halfway through my twelfth year, about eight years now, and more than a third of my life.

This place is one of my pillars, and you all are a part of that. From the contentious, to the fair, to the friendly, to the creative, the discussions and the back-and-forth here have helped to socialize me, beyond what I would have attained on my own as a socially awkward Aspergic with few-to-no strong IRL friends until halfway through highschool. You guys have helped me and, on the occasions where frustrations arise and I put my foot in my mouth or just out-and-out insult somebody- I can recall at least one occasion of both- you guys are quick to forgive even when most people might rightfully not be.

I've only ever been to like, two birthday parties as a kid, and I don't recall ever throwing one of my own that others attended- that's the kind of social life I'm talking about, for reference.

I have to give first mention to the typically-absentee, ever-missed Flisch, since he's the reason I joined this forum- Spore: The Game was one of many similar forum games I found while searching for such during those periods just before Spore came out, and was what brought me here. He's a pretty cool dude and very occasionally we chat on Steam, though that hasn't happened in a while.

Pat you're like a... I don't want to say "a big brother" because that's kind of an odd thing to say to someone you've never met, and doesn't capture it exactly besides, but I'll go so far as "wacky uncle-like older friend". You're pretty cool, and you have a way of bringing odd and interesting things into a discussion that nobody realized were missing.

GD I don't mention it much, but I identify with some of your struggles. Fighting against the **** inside your own head just to get through what you have to do is an exhausting, toiling experience. The personal perseverance you show in the face of it honestly inspires me. I wish I were more like you. Also, you're a complete cutie.

Slinky I envy your artistic ability. I really like the way you draw people and also that you can just sort of smoosh biological shapes around until you get hilarious things, like Uncle Skrotor and Cousin Joe. It's dope. You're dope.

Gauph I envy your artistic ability for a different reason. I'll say it again, verbatim: I really dig your outline-ambivalent, pixel-pencil style. I especially liked the comic you made a few pages of throughout the March daily-draw, the one about those two chumps going into an old technocastle. Pretty cool.

Marty I kind of missed the bandwagon for this by a mile but holy crap you actually are, like, a professional gameman. Dude. DUDE. It's so wicked awesome, I really cannot overstate this.

To everyone on this forum: For attending to my loneliness better than reality ever did, thank you all. For being such fantastic individuals as to make this group so great, thank you all. I'll remember you all on my deathbad, wherever and whenever in the future that may be. You've made a true impact on my life, for the better. Without this place I would assuredly be doing worse. Sorry if I didn't name you, but it took me like an hour to write this, I am not very good with compliments. Know that I do appreciate you.
